I think most planes have photoelectric smoke detectors in their restrooms. They basically go off when there is a reduction of light that hit the photocells in the device which can be caused by not only smoke, but vapour as well. So I'm not too sure if that would be a good idea:p

Tim

glad to hear there was no problem. I would just vape in the bathroom to keep it out of sight out of mind

Yeah..Steve at PS tested it earlier this year and confirmed that PV's WILL definitely set off the alarm 8-o

Just got off 4 flights with Air Canada, no problems at all going through customs and such. No issues with vaping in the waiting areas, just inhaled extra deep and exhaled slowly so not a lot of vapor was floating around.

Didn't do it on a flight just to be safe.

did u just bring your e cig or did u bring liquids as well?

Just got back from San Francisco with Air Canada yesterday.. i brought my PCC with 2 batteries, 10 carts, 4x 1dram bottles filled with 4 differents eliquids and pass the inspection without any problem or any questions asked.. they were mon interested by my Katana in my luggage i guess.. :D

no problem at all so far

I secretly vaped in the plane, deep inhale, blow the vapor in my shirt.. no problem at all.

i am flying to hawaii next weekend and plan on bringning a 901 for me and one for my g/f. not wiling to test the bathroom sensors after a close friend that was a flight attendant for AC told me it is an emergency descent to 5000Ft . this is the only plan of action even for false allarms she says.

that worrys the hell out of me so i think i will just splurge on a pillow and figure something out. or i will not vape.

Good plan. I imagine forcing a plane to do an emergency descent would put you in a whole new world of pain as a consequence :)

Tim

Hey Tim...looks like Im not the only one that's lurking!

My central air was down this week and they just replaced the compressor today so I'm sitting back enjoying my new found ability to not melt :)

I don't know how you survived without the AC, its been 30+ for what seems like FOREVER!
