Hey everyone, stumbled across this forum while looking on information in regards to E-cigars, and found a lot of info here (gonna be spending a fair amount of time reading me thinks)

A little about me, Iv been smoking on and off for about 3-4 years, I started off with cigars as I love the taste, and over time worked my way down to cigs due to price, recently I've have made an effort to quit cigs completely (gonna go back to the occasional cigar or pipe) but I wanna fill the gap, as I like sitting out side working and puffing on a cigar at the same time< as well as help with the nic cravings as I get off cigs. Being up in Canada limits what I can buy locally. I would like to find a realistic looking E-cigar is auto as i work with my hands, that is good quality reusable and, reliable, but as I have quickly come to learn that's not going to happen.

however I have been looking at the e-cigs and see a few that might work for me. anyways just want to stop in and saty thanks for the info and if anyone has any suggestions I would not say no :)

Well, I can't say much for the cigars looking models because I don't vape them. The closest you will find in an auto battery that vapes like a cigar is called the Echo. Using it really reminds of smoking a cigar. It's well balance and they com with rubber tips but you can find hard ones that you can hold comfortably in your teeth. I was using some manual/push button batteries until I discovered these. They will last all day and you can fill up the cartridges and charge the batteries at night. I'm going to check a couple of Canadian vendors that I've heard of and I'll post back. keep posting as well. 4 more posts and you can get on the Canadian subforum

It's not bad as a starter, anything is a step in the right direction. The batteries don't last very long and you may spend more time charging them than using them. Good choice on the PCC. I was going for more of a cigar sized vaporizer based on your comments about yourself.

But if you can pick it up and have it in your hands tomorrow then I say, go for it!

Do yourself a favor and pick up some extra atomizers. Those are the things that can break. They are the heating element and it's just a nichrome resistance wire. Be as varied as you can on your juice selection too. No juice will ever taste like smoking so you'll have to find one you like. Surprisingly enough, you may find yourself liking non tobacco flavors better.

The last tip I will leave you with is that vaping dehydrates you. You'll soon feel better from not smoking as much, but drink as much as possible. good luck!

check out that subforum for canadian vendors. Many better choices available than the kit you linked to. You should be able to find a vendor that carries a cigar sized big batt model that you will like. If any canadian vendors carry the kgo, get that.

The Joye 510 is what got me off cigs so I won't bash it in the least. However, those are tiny batteries and won't have much in terms of run time even with the 280mah batteries...I think the longer ones are 280mah. You might ask the store employee about the cigar you're looking for. They may/may not be able to help you out.
