First- A big HELLO to my new community! I've been sucking this forum dry of info and figured it was time to sign-up
And no better time, as I want to address an issue to my new team regarding V-Nano's recent batch of 510 clearomizers (I'll address this below my short intro...)
How I started....
I started vaping over a year ago, I am sure some of you can agree that it can be disappointing at first but only gets better as you find what works for you. I have not stepped into the world of modding yet, afraid of becoming even more dependent on nicotine lol. So, I started with traditional kits- njoy, ProSmoke, Smokeless image Volt, Volcano, Blu, etc etc. I wanted desperately to find a blu-sized cigarette that actually delivered. In the first 6 months, I became fond of the Volcano Magma- I thought it couldn't get any better than the top coil cleaomizers and choconilla haze coupled with their 510 battery. They leaked like crazy though which forced me to continue the hunt.
What I settled with....
Nowadays, I rely on the Volcano magma batteries to provide me a faithful 4-4.2 volts. (It's hard to find a reliable automatic 510 battery.) I Keep 5 in cycle and they last minimum of 8 months. I've tried so many different liquids- flavors, strengths, mixtures and venders and at the end of the day my go-to is a mixture of Nicquid's PG Sinnabun and High Caliber's VG Cinn-a-bun. (I have a sweet tooth and find it delivers great taste, solid vapor and throathit.) After becoming frusterated enough times with the leaking top-coil clearomizers I "upgraded" to bottom coil clearomizers- specifically the LR (1.8 Ohm) V-Nano clearomizer. The combination between these components and flavor is amazing IMHO. They instantly prime and last me about 2 weeks each. About the throathit of a marb red/camel full flavor, taste of...well, a cinnabun and vapor cloud of many mods I see reviewed on youtube. I have recommended this setup to anyone wanting to leave cigarettes entirely and have not disappointed one individual!
Why I am here today
To give back! With the info above and a CRITICAL update to anyone that uses the 510 Nano Clearomizer
A CRITICAL WARNING REGARDING THE VOLATILE RESISTANCE OF RECENT BATCH OF 510 NANO CLEAROMIZERS*
Product: V-nano clearomizers as found @ AltSmoke and LiteCigUSA
Fault: Highly volatile resistance (3.5-14 Ohms) found in above product, badged 2.8 Ohms
Scope: 100% defect rate (in exp. below) of most recent production run.
Evidence: I am a new member so I cannot post pictures. So, I have added a high-resolution photo outlining the stated and actual resistance. (Feel free to access, and reply with image if you can.) You can access it here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21476796/S1054875.JPG
More info....
-Both orders recd. in past week (1st time LiteCigUSA customer, repeat AltSmoke Customer)
-Both orders contained at least three varieties of colors, all badged identical w/ "V-Nano" , "2.8 Ohms" and "20120520378.0" (Suspecting batch #.)
-I am a repeat AltSmoke customer, familiar with this product. Previously, it was never badged "V-nano" or resistance but faithfully measured around 1.8 ohms.
-In both orders, I opened one of each color (a total of 6....)
-The resistances were HIGHLY volatile- anywhere from 3.5 to 14 Ohms!
-I did not use and strongly suggest you stay clear of these until issue is resolved!
-I am awaiting more information from venders and will be reporting back : )
*I realize there are better sections to post this information but I do not have access to them yet. If anyone has any suggestions pertaining to its relocation or a moderator would like to extract and relocate the above section, please do. I have been plugging in (8-9 posts) for the past 2 hours in hopes to gain access quicker to no avail.
What a read, sorry! I hope this information is received in the right light. Im looking forward to being a part of the community and thought this would be a great start. I am looking fwd to plugging in ( a lot of exp. with 510, 808 kits as well as tens of vendors, about 50+ liquids.) Let me know if I can elaborate on any particular element; Keep on vaping and see you around!
