Ok so to start its about a week into this so as you can imagine my brain is on reading over load..

I got a istick 20w with the kanger genitank mini. I'm not looking (right now anyway) for the big clouds just a nic satisfying flavorful taste.

I don't know what mix the local shop used but I know they added 15mg nic into a already made bottle of the flavors I picked. correct me but isn't that going to weaken the taste?
im still experimenting right now but i seem to get better taste with mouth to lung at 3.6v 1.8 ohms 7.2w 3 holes open an 3.5 sec hits. anything other then that it has a funny plastic taste with no real skittles flavor at all. I don't know what PG taste like but maybe its that.

Should i maybe look into a better tank? seems people like the Aspire Nautilus Mini for better flavor.

thanks for you help

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

If all depends on how concentrated their nic is. If it's 99+% nic (1000mg/ml) it won't weaken the taste much (if at all).

I attribute "plastic taste" to the juice you are using. Every good juice I have ever vaped does not have a plastic taste (no matter what the wattage/voltage). However, the wattage/voltage can make a difference in how strong/weak the flavor is, as can aging the juice.

Should i maybe look into a better tank? seems people like the Aspire Nautilus Mini for better flavor.
Before you start investing in new equipment I recommend you visit as many vape shops in your area that you can and spend some time at their juice bar sampling their flavors.

I don't know what the vape shop variety is in your area. I DO know I have two overpriced 30ml bottles of plastic from my local mix-on-site that I will probably never vape. I did find one flavor there I do like, but they were out of it when I went back and I stupidly bought the 2nd 30ml of something else. AND I STILL had two days worth of juice in the little bottle I liked. Learning curve fun.

The other place I've been going has juice from a wide selection from commercial vendors that is pre-mixed, has a much better variety and has better prices to boot! (And much more knowledgeable sales staff)

Once you find flavors you like, you'll probably want extra tanks so you can switch between them :)

thanks for the input. I was already looking into the extra tanks but don't know what would be the best way to go $ wise so I can swap to different flavors at will?

I did try a bunch of the flavors they had but seems like as soon as they mixed mine its not the same. he said its due to the nic being added. I understand that so I got a few samples coming via mail soon and will put a nail in this then. I ordered all of then at 6mg nic figured if I chain vap I shouldn't have any issues lol.

Good luck! You'll figure it out. I discovered one of my favorite juices by accident, throwing a bottle on an order to get free shipping. Nicer store carries it locally for an even lower price :)
