This rba is better than kayfun and taifun gta..I know that's saying a lot but I own all three and for the price alone the fogger tops the other 2..flavor and vapor without modification also tops them..as far as tanks go I honestly think this is the best it's more like what the aqua should have been..it does take characteristics from All of them and the outcome is what I believe the best authentic available..I would buy several of these before a kayfun and still pay less and get a better vape I payed 29.95 shipped off ebay..check it out wick it like a kayfun once you get the coils right because they aren't the easiest..

I just got mine last night and built it. Can't say I am blown away. Dual coils, 28g at .90, cotton wicks.

Any suggestions for ideal build especially the distance from the air hole to the coil?
I did it pretty close to my Kayfun about 1mm above.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I built mine .6 28 gauge it's raised up from the holes a little so the wicks bow down over the holes..this is how I wick my drippers seems to have better flow to the coil..and honestly to me the flavor is definately better than my kayfun..kayfun doesn't impress to much unless I use a regulated mod..but I love mechs I haven't tried the fogger on a regulated device yet

That's what it's sounding like to me..make sure you get a snug wrap around those posts and a good tightening..fire them up a few times before you wick em and recheck resistence..1.6 seems a little high tho for an rba unless your regulating this one..then again everyone has there own preference..at .6 this thing wicks kings crown and keeps up with chain vaping..make sure you don't put any wick in the Chanel's is the key up this one just like the kayfun..if you have first version fogger v4 I believe the Chanel's are bigger so wicking would be different..over all I'm impressed with this thing for the price..that was the whole point of my post ..to each his own

where did you buy the newest version? I have the big deck version and it took me awhile to get it wicking right but once I did it really is a step up from a Kayfun as far as in your face vapor production... it's like in between a kayfun and my drippers sub ohmed

1.6 for 9 wrap coils sounds ok to me..a lot better than 3.3..I would think of a loose connection on one of your coils if it reads 3.3 because dual coil resistence is always gonna be half of the resistence of one of the coils..There could be exceptions I guess maybe if one coil was different from the other but still would not be 3.3 for two coils at that gauge and wrap

Ya I'm about to go on my lunch break and stop home. It is very possible that a connection could be loose. I'll make sure it reads correct on my provari before i put it all back together and fill it up :p

The big deck version is also good though..the first one had a smaller deck then bigger deck then back to smaller deck with the added fill hole lip.. Either way I believe it's a great atty..at least I can justify the price..me personally I like the wide deck version better..as long as you get one with the correct post screws I believe they had an issue with the manufacturer sending the wide deck version out with the wrong screws sizes that didn't thread they just dropped in but I do believe they fixed it or at least I was told some of the vendors were replacing the screws

Ok, I was able to get a dual coil build to 1.6ohms. The only thing I hate about the Fogger that I have is the air flow control. It has a ring similar to the first Aerotank, and the airflow is either completely closed, or totally open. There really is no in between with this control ring. Also, it was so hard to get the cotton wick to stay on the deck. The Fogger in the video I saw had longer juice channels and a better looking base. I'm just getting kind of frusterated with these RTAs not performing how well others say they do.

The Prometheus is a great rba BUT is a genesis atty after all that's a whole nother bag of worms..more leaking when left sideways and it's a top feeder instead of bottom feeder with vacuum so you you have to tilt to wick etc... I like gennys I just prefer the kayfun style rbas ...my airflow control on my fogger works flawlessly and you just want to rest your wick over the channels instead of run wick down them..and I'm not trying to convince anyone to purchase this product or make an assumption that everyone will like this product..it's my personal experience that it is better than a kayfun and a whole nother animal from the previous foggers...chances are if you don't like the aqua or kayfun you might not like it..but the posts are like the taifun gt and depending on which version you get you would wick it like a kayfun or an aqua..
