Hi Guys,

I'm very new to the RBA scene, haven't stepped through the door yet though.

I really like the look of the fogger V4 and the fact it comes with a little beginners kit! Would this work on an istick? I assume it'd be down to how to build the resistance of the coils as the istick won't fire sub ohm apparently, is that correct and would you recommend anything other than the fogger?

Also some newbie questions if that's okay!

How does resistance & voltage affect the vape? I assume the lower the resistance the quicker it the coils heat up and vaporise the eliquid, would this mean you'd burn more and quicker so you'd have decent clouds?

Is fasttech a good supplier? This one seems pretty cheap https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10009162/1680901-fogger-v4-rba-rebuildable-atomizer

Last question: I've noticed with mods and RDAs that the prices vary widely, from say £20GBP to 120 GBP, I just don't understand how one could be so much more expensive, are they really 4x better than the cheaper ones? Or is it just down to build quality?

The Fogger V4 is designed to run dual coils and is not a beginner tank by any means. You have to be knowledgeable about how to build matching coils and how to properly wrap and wick. It's really not that difficult with all the advise and videos out there, but needs respect or your batteries will suffer. Since the Istick only fires coils between 1 to 3 ohm, You'll have build two 2 ohm coils. I would probably use 32 gauge with 5 to 6 wraps to get the desired results of 1.3 ohm total. Remember that if one coil is 2 ohm, adding a second will cut resistance in half.

with resistance affecting voltage? You are essentially correct, but it gets much more complicated. Just know that if you're running a regulated mod (Istick, hana and such) the mod will adjust voltage automatically with what it reads your resistance.

I've had good and bad luck with Fasttech. They have gained the name of Slowtech from most people who have ordered from them. Not really their fault, it's orders being held up in customs.

The prices that vary wildly are due to authentic vs clones. If say, an authentic runs $100.00 and you see one for $15.00, the cheaper one is almost guaranteed to be a clone. A lot of folks (me too) have purchased clones just because we're not rich and a lot of the clones are just as good!

Hope this helps!!
