I just found this the other day, I have been using blue foam and have tried the PTB in many different forms and haven't had much luck till now, I found an old post by someone here and have tried it myself and omg , this is the one ....

What you do is take a pyramid tea bag cut one end off , start folding it lengthwise at about 1/4 inch increments .fold it three times , four is to much. You want the width to be equal to the side length of the cart in between the radius ends

Then you want to slide it into the cart , when it hits the bottom start a crease by folding it outwards. pull it out and make another crease the other way at about 3/16 from the first one, what you are trying to do is achieve a (M), then make another fold the other way at 3/16 inch. when you are done you can squeeze it together you will have excess at the bottom where you have the 2 raw ends cut this flush with the first side you started with. then take your cart drip in about 12 drops , slide the (M) in with the folded ends towards the open end of the cart, It will only go in 1 way !!!. ( between the radius)
Next you want to add a couple of drops so you can see it is saturated, when it is full you will know , when it is over filled the little valley as i call it in the middle will look to wet..
If you look into the atty you will see a ceramic piece that is shaped the same as your cart, insert it the same way.

What you have done is make a filler that directly comes in contact with all three sides of the bridge, ( THIS WILL WICK EVERY LAST DROP OUT OF YOUR CART) IT IS EASY TO REFILL & WHEN YOU PUT A CAP ON IT , YOU CAN CARRY IN YOUR POCKET & NO LEAKS ..The best part is that there is no over wicking , you don't get any bubbling , and when it needs refilling you will know !!! the vapor starts to taper off , Then just refill or slap on another one..

I was messing with pyramid teabags today. I was trying a veriant on the PTM. What I was trying to do was creat a membrane with it over a straw that would slide down into my cart. I got it in with a single layer, but it would flood. I then wanted to try two layers to decrease the flow some, but couldn't get it into the cart and honestly gave up and went back to Highping's mod, which works good, accest I hate filling the carts with it because I need to carry tweezers to pull the plug.

Anyways, your idea sounds good and would like to try it, but I am having a hard time conceptualizing how you are getting to the "M" shape. Can you maybe post a link or pictures?

Thanks!

Try using a small paper clip. Just pull one of the ends out a little and it will snag your plug with minimal effort and can also be used to spread the filler out on the end when you put in new material or rinse out the old.
