Take a stand all Americans Against Food Taxes . the government needs to stop sucking us dry. yet another attempt to blame obesity on outside taxable sources rather then attack the actual problem. that it cost to much to live health on a day to day repeatable basis. why pay 10 bucks for the salad mix and dressing when you can pay bucks for a cheeseburger meal.

Posting here considering it does not concern E-cigs but does concern are wallets

This IMO is an excellent post. Sin taxes are definately not the answer. Why are soda machines in schools in the first place? Do kids really care if part of the money Mom and Dad gave them that morning to buy the soda is used to pay taxes to fund some special interest group that is demanding that a study be done as to why the kids are obese? When you can go to TacoJohn/Bell, whatever and get 5tacos and a pound of taters for $5 do you really think that a kids is going to spend that $5 on Hidden Valley Ranch Lite for $4.99? Not only kids, but adults have grown so accustom to the 'drive-up window' way of life, Hell, Applebees does curbside, it's no wonder there are weight issues. Speaking for myself only, taxes aren't going to stop me from drinking Dt. Coke, they didn't stop me from smoking, they just funded more stupid studies to tell me it's not good to drink pop or smoke.
