I've messed this up so many times I've become an expert :) Yes, I have rebuilt two of my grands 4 times and every time they leaked. Why? Because I was over-tightening the nipple. Now I've mastered it in beautiful 1080p HD point of view (POV) quality. have a look :)

:) Great as always. One question for you...How on earth do you not knock over the bottle of superglue you left the cap off of that long? :D

Thank you. If you only knew how goofy I am, I too am surprised :)

And yes that poor bottle of superglue (aka the vmod) has been left open many times for way too long as evidenced by the chopped top :)

Great vid Russ as usual. I would say every new Reo owner owes you a big thank you for all the insight and help you provide with your fantastic vids. Great job bud

Thank you. But no thanks needed. I enjoy the vid making and just knowing that there is a small audience is all the thanks I need :)

The reason you were having problems with your rebuilds was not really your fault . We had a run of thin center posts this is why you were cracking the posts when tightening them .

I hear you Rob but I'll all but guarantee you that my big dumb AYuss was overtightening them to the 5th power and would have even broken the good ones :)

That's why I used math this time. But thank you my man.

Thank you, Russ! As usual, you are man.

I just sent my LP black wrinkle back to Rob. In the future, I will refer to your vid for fixes.

Have a wonderful Holiday Season, brother.

Thank you my man. It really is that easy. I'm proud to say I've never, in over two years of use had to send a mod back to Rob.

But I will send all three of my grands back to him when that new 510 comes out. I'll prolly let em get really scummy and covered in juice. May even take one and pour a bunch of juice in it, set it in a dark place and see if a shroom grows in it before I package it. Definitely I'll be taking them in the bathroom with me from now on too.

I might not even empty the bottles like he requests. If he sees my mods now he will think I'm a OCD clean freak weird dude.

Oh, wait. He prolly already knows that. Drats. I'll clean my mods real well before I send them.

All I want is to fit in :) yeah. Right.

Well i think mine came with one of those thin wall 510 pin runs cause mine 510 snapped so easily.. i ordered a rebuild kit and its on the way. Luckily i have a mini LP to use or i'd be really wheeping.

^ Here's a picture. That pin is so dayum thin the threads litterly crumbled. I had a slight leak problem i was trying to render.. wish i would of watches this video russ because i thought that silicone in the bottom was part of the insulator and i proceeded to rip it out! [emoji16] so now.. when my kit arrives. Maybe i should get some liquid silicone and squirt a dab in there?! Rob? And suggestions other than sending it in? I dont want to send it in and bother you i'd rather fix the problem myself.. dang i wish i didn't start ripping that out already..
Theres still alittle in there but i did rip out a big chunk. I'll post up a pic of the bottom inside to show you whats left in there.. (bummer)

Heres the picture of whats left in there.... :/

My love- Kawa Reo LP w/ TRA SL door & LokiLab Odin.. Mmm Mmm

Dayum. You scraped out the gobblygook. I think you may have to send it to Rob because my guess is he puts that in before he presses in the 510? Dunno. I feel for you my brother.

Man.. I'm really really regretting this. I hope i can put it in the repair kit and squirt some silicone in there. I'm just gonna wait and hope Rob chimes in.. the repair kit is being shipped tomorrow, just got an email. So i have a few days to figure out what i'm gonna do.. thanks SxD. Its my own dumb a** fault, should of watched you/ Robs videos before hand. Although this new video came out a few HOURS AFTER i already started to scrape it out..

Well atleast i have this little workhorse.. equipped with two brand new sets of AW 1200 Mah. These little batterys are working nice so far. I can still go pretty low and at around .6ohms the battery will last a whole work day. I am just trying to get over the fact that my Loki looks so funny on the mini. I just prefer the big dual coil 22mm attys.. so i dont want to switch it out. Hopefully this kit comes soon and i can get my Grand up and running.

I had a small leak under the delrin; I watched the video and did the water squirt test. I took my Grand apart and put it back together (saving all the old stuff, S_X_D). I solved the leak. I can't say what the exact problem was but it appears to be fixed. I think the water squirt test showed that the tube onto the 510 (firing pin) may have had a poor fit, probably do my earlier unknowing messing around. But after putting it together and after several hours of use, no leak. It also seems that more juice comes down the feed tube before there is an air return after squonking. This also leads me to think that the feed tube may have been pulled down some off the firing pin.
