Well, you should've had the little chuck, I liked that word placement better LOL
But, here's my revised version. Took out the "Little", rearranged the wording and added some vapor to the logo on the left:

And then with the new vaporized version of the logo, I tweaked the cropping and tried with and without the chuck for the avatar:

Holy carp! That's very nice!

I almost wish I hadn't set a deadline now. But since I did, I will honor it.

While the avatar pic is awesome... I wonder if folks will think I'm a chick if I use it, lol. Of course, River works great (and looks hot) in the sig banner, though.

btw Angus, thanks for doing this contest. I've seen the serenity movie a few times, but had never actually watched the show. Digging up pics got me looking into it more, just watched the first episode of Firefly last night and enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the movie. I absolutely LOVE their humor! Can't wait to watch the rest of the series
