Have done it before lol back in my younger not so innocent days..... Just really trying not to do it again as I am puff puffing away almost bought that dye in the store yesterday. I think I'll stay out of the store a while.... Pufff
the wifey lowered her nic level and dyed her hair purple ( well more of a dark purple)

As a cautionary tale - used to go for mohawks, all manner of dyed hair around 30 years ago. Backed off for a number of years and my credibility with my family as an adult skyrocketed. One day in my early 30s - got the urge to go for a mohawk, relive my youth. Did it, loved it - until my grandmother died two days later and I had to show up at the funeral looking like a kid again --- it was worth it though, lol.
Nope! Haven't had a "my time..." since I was 31 years old, which was 30+ years ago. I do vape like crazy now, but it's on 6mg, not down to 0 yet.
Urge to dye my hair purple now? Nope to that, too. If I were ever to have done it...would likely have been years ago in college. Fun times then - did stuff like streaking, partied a bunch, put invisible stars on my dorm room ceiling that only showed up with the blacklights on, etc.
If I dyed it now, it'd probably be to the color it used to be, which was brown. Not much of that color up there any more though! I knew my having mostly silver-gray hair was pretty much inevitable though. I taught school for 30 years (that's 3,000+ 11-13 year olds) which earned me a bunch of them, and my Dad was totally silver-gray by the time he was 52. That accounts for the rest of them now. I stood no chance of staying a brunette!
You're only young once, and today is the youngest you'll ever be for the rest of your life. So - Vape like crazy. Dye your hair whatever color suits your fancy. Enjoy it while you can!

Yeah I did my fair share of streaking and especially skinny dipping at the beach in good old fl, doing things in the water that scared those fish did the whole stars on the ceiling with backlights too. I think I might have a couple left stashed away w some other important things in what I call my year 16 trunk that guy is locked up tight and we won't say what's in it..... Oh no

Sorry for the double post but there was no college for me hell my parents barely survived high school ...... And they were divorced living in 2 separate states!!!! I bounced around quite a bit but that was 17 years ago..... Maybe they've recovered by now ..... In fact maybe mom needs a little bit of a shocker to spice up her life....maybe the bright purple hair is not so hormonal haha
Well, I don't get that "time" anymore either, but I was wondering what I would look like with that old lady blue hair thing, lol.
Heehee my grandpa used to use that silver fox shampoo- his hair was light blue GOd rest his soul... He was such a good man , an old Italian w blue hair!!!! Geez I love / miss that guy
hahaha, that's awesome. I'm half Native and my grandma always wore a bright red wig in a bouffant. All of us grandkids (in our 50s and 60s now) have stories about the first time we ever saw her w/o a wig.
She was very frugal and would have approved of vaping over smoking, just because it can be cheaper.
Why do I always find myself in the girly threads, cause your all adorable, that's why. As long as your not smoking then I say what the heck, enjoy what you do and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks as long as your happy xx
Well.... I almost wore my brides bra. After 54 years of marriage..... it's much bigger than I remembered it from 1962....
