Neither here nor there
I have not dreaded January 1 as the day I would quit smoking...dreaded because of the fear of withdrawals and ultimate and repeated failure.

I am a nonsmoker now, and am enjoying the first day of the new year instead of stressing about cigarettes and having them on my mind every second until inevitably giving in and returning to my filthy habit.

Thank you ecig inventors, innovators, suppliers, and ECF.

My New Year's resolution was to continue using ecigs instead of cigarettes and to stop spending so much on ecigs and supplies. I have gone completely overboard.

What - that's a problem? (I ask as I scurry to order more stuff that I won't need unless the prophecies about 2012 actually come true...)

Lol I've learned to stop counting the dollars I spend with vaping. Basically its my fault for going into this with the "I want the best of the best" attitude because its costed my a LOT of money. lol

Best $money I've spent but then again I do Have a bunch of xtra sets I bought to try and convert some people I really care about. Although I've left myself cash strapped I'm going into a New Year smoke free and feeling both good and good about myself and surely a lot less stinky! My 11 year old made me his hero again for quitting. Best of luck and health to the ecf community in the New Year!

I could not agree more with everyone here. This is the Happiest New Year for us all. I would not trade it for ten times the money I spent. For once we have a chance without the painful, futile path of quitting the smokees once more. Let's be proud of ourselves and celebrate. Give ourselves a pat on the back for finding this forum, finding eachother, and discovering the delights of vapor!

Happy New Year to us!

Decided to add up all my purchases since I started vaping (on Nov14th 2009).
Total spent: $289.90. Although I continued smoking for 2 weeks I haven't bought ANY cigs since I started vaping ( I still had some and cut way back almost immediately so the cigs I had lasted till I quit). So, if I add the $80 I would have spent on cigs those first two weeks to what I've saved since I officially quit.....WHOO HOOOO!!!! I'm in the black by about.....
54 cents!!!!
