I own a couple reos and love them. I threw out about 2k worth of junk 3 years ago when i found my first reo. Life got busy and i even left the rooms for awhile. Glad to see reo still holding its own. I have a vv reo and a reo grande and 2 rbas now and thats it.

I am or would consider a non juice feeder at some point in my life. if i waswhat would be the best cartos to buy and tank to buy - (i use to love low res cartos on my reo. )

From what i gathered a double slit carto from ikenvape is the way to go and a tank from ibtanked -

I get a little lost with the tanks - there are so damn many - what is simplest yet decent one to get and do i have to worry about size of the tank i get in terms of the device its going on ? Like would the same tank fit on provari and a mvp itaste?

In addition, depending on the tank i get do i have to buy certain size cartos that will fit it ?

I can just write to both vendors i guess but if someone can point me to a link or give me a quick run down id be grateful.

And lastly can someone explain why on god green earth why anyone would by a clearomizer ?

I'm not sure you're going to find a non-reo setup that's going to give you what you've already got.

If you want to experiment with carto tanks, the IBTanked suggestion above is your best starting place. Pick a complete tank and cartos to match it.

Complete Tanks

As for clearos.... well... they're cheap, set up easily, are very portable... and are nowhere near the vape you've had for 3 years. 'nuf said.

Haha, can't answer the clearomizers questions. Different strokes for different folks.

Now on to carto tanks. IBtanks are awesome. I have 5 and live them as well as my rebuildables. So here are the answers to your questions.

1. Cheapest decent one I have heard positive reviews and personally tried is a smoktech DCtank (any size).

2. Any device with a 510 connection will fit a the cartomizer. The choice in size is for aesthetics. If you have an ego style battery you probably doesn't want a 22mm wide tank or vice versa if you have a massive Vamo, SVD, Zmax etc. you may not like the look of a tiny halfling on there.

3. The size cartomizer will depend on the tank. For instance DCTanks 3.5 ml tank takes 35mm cartos and the 4.5 ml tank takes 45mm. With IBtanked the 19mm takes 35mm and the 22mm tank takes 45mm.

4. The number of holes punched in the cartomizers is personal preference. I personally have cartomizers with 1,2 and 3 holes punched. If the liquid has a higher PG percentage then 50 I use 1 hole punched, 50PG/50VG I use two holes and 100% VG I use 3 holes punched. The reason is because the thicker the juice the more wicking you need. If you are pulling in to much liquid while inhaling it will flood the carto.

That info about the IBTanks is incorrect. They make both standard and XL tubes in 19mm and 22mm diameter. The standard takes a 35mm and the XL is a 45mm.

Are all the cartos the same in diameter from different brands? Only difference being in length?
Ibtanked is out of cartos at the moment, just want to make sure I don't get the wrong thing.

Along with the IBTanked, I would also consider the Phiniac tanks. I have been using mine for over a year and they have never leaked and are still on the original seals and they provide a second set of seals with each tank. The Smoktech cartos are also pretty good. Better than the Boge, anyway, IMO.

for an mvp, i recommend a 19mm tank. it sits just about flush with the beauty ring and doesn't protrude past the edge of the mvp but just a hair on one side. very unlikely to hit the tank and crack it should you tip the mvp over.

i also suggest you try all the carto brands you can get ahold of between boge laser punched from surevapes, ikenvape platinum laser punched and the smok single coil laser punched cartos. get a couple of each in the appropriate length for your tanks at first to try them out and figure which one you prefer. then you can buy backups in bulk.

yeah, pretty much. the 3 i listed are the ones most commonly liked and/or suggested that i've seen.

*though, there are dual coil cartos with a slightly larger diameter. or so i've read.

@spooky-- that is exactly what i needed. Thank you. No i dont own a provari. Just 2 reos. But may buy a non juice mod soon- provari too steep for me currently. Thx. For the quick reply n good answer.

Same advice if you're getting an MVP2 as well. You can choose tank DIA as you like smaller tanks need to be filled more often than larger tanks do. IBTanked offers many different sizes in the standard height. Some folks like one brand of carto over another, and other folks can't tell the difference between different cartos.
