Why so little love for side by sides?

No offense, but them box mods with atties on top are about the size of 3 of my ordinary pocket setups duct-taped together. Given, I do get less battery capacity. But my usual pocket setups are around 100mm tall, 22mm diameter - making the entire setup shorter and slimmer than the IPV alone. I could strap 4 spare batteries to their sides and still have a smaller setup.

No offense taken... Function, reliability and high performance are demands I get from my mods.. Dual batts go for days on a single charge too.. I'm also a big boy, with large hands and deep pant pockets.. These mods slide in and out with the greatest of ease..... actually these box mods seem rather small and compact to me.. The mechs on the left are not much taller than the 65mm batts they use..the tanks add a little more height to them, but not much....bottom line performance and the best vape possible trumps overall size, for me anyway. When I first bought a Gizmo, I did not like it very much at first. It was strange to have that button on the top rather than on the side.

A few hours later, I was already loving it. It was smaller, stealthier, and most of all, did not have a tendency of falling off my shirt pocket. :)

The fact that you could put it on a tabletop without the risk of it falling on it's side, and *then* rolling over to the ground was also great.

I wish they had made it for an 18650. Sure, a 18500 mod is smaller, but I would not mind it being 1.5 cm taller and having more battery life.

All things considered, I think side-by-side is a great concept.
