Hi Guys.
Just purchased a pre-loved used Reo Grand for, I have to admit, a bargain price from Ebay.

The previous owner was not a true Reonaut, I suspect.

I have sold many items of vaping gear in the past and I have never failed to describe the items using anything but the truth and have never sent anything to its new owner without fully cleaning and sterilising the item before posting.

The Reo Grand that I have just purchased had at best, a description based on an economy of words along with a photo, both of which could well have been used to describe anything from an empty match box to a discarded shipping container.
So from the above, you have about as much information as I had from the add.

Here are a number of photos that I have just taken, that show the Grand in its full splendour.

Having said all the above, I feel that I am in a great position whereby I have a blank canvas to do just whatever takes my fancy from highly polishing to embossing to engraving even to have it powder coated, in fact I can do all those things one after another just for my enjoyment whereas had the Grand been in fair condition, I would not have had the courage to possibly wreck it.

I would love to have your opinions on what I could possibly do to it to bring it back to tip top condition.

Polished to a mirror finish would be awesome!!!
How much did you snag it for? I only ask so that I may work up the appropriate amount of jealousy.

I'd say polish to a mirror shine, I kinda like the blue on top makes it look unique. Slap on a RM2 and bust some clouds.

Thanks Raynman but the blue on top is a bit chipped which is a shame as I rather like the blue.

Cheers CC. The cost of a new one to the UK, when you include international post, taxes, Paypal conversion fees along with a fee to the Royal Mail for collecting said taxes puts the price up to way over $220. Perhaps I should order a couple of dozen and come and pick them up.....I would also be able to get my pre-ordered Woodvil.

Long story short, this one reminded me of a guy I got into vaping. I sold him my backup blue reo. He was really hard on it. It wouldn't of surprised me if it ended up like that. Lol.

A real Reonaut wouldn't sell a REO for $55 USD.....we'd all KNOW it was worth more than that. Besides, just like people....it's what's on the inside that counts. JC, my comment was just tongue in cheek. I am very new to Reo`s, only about 1 month, and to be considered a Reonaut this quickly is an honour. I am glad to be included as one of the family, sincerely.

Lol, Thanks Raynman, I will post my progress. It is in the sonic cleaner as we speak for the first of several runs. The photos do not do justice to how dirty it was, the previous owner didnt even bother to empty out the juice bottle, plus I dont even know if it works yet but as I have learned from here, there is not too much to go wrong so should have it up and running later just to test.
