Thank you very much! :)
I was using a Canon 40D with those photos. I have since moved up to the Canon 7D. My lenses are mostly all Canon L series lenses; but the lake photo was taken with a Canon Kit lens. :) The Blue Heron and the Eagle photos were taken with a Canon 400 mm L series telephoto lens. The River photo, the waterfall photo and the Dead tree photo were taken with a 17-40 mm L series lens. :)

I love Eagles, so I have an extensive collection of photos of them. :) The Eagles are very plentiful in our area now, so every chance I get I photograph them. :) On one day I took 155 Eagle photos. My wife and I took a short drive of about 15 miles round trip so that I could get all of those photos. :) On one stretch of road every power pole had an Eagle on it, as did just about every tree. :)

Wow those were great! Where in our fine state is Burlington?

katydid,
Burlington is 65 miles north of Seattle, 30 miles south of Bellingham and 18 miles east of Anacortes. Mt. Vernon is the Skagit County seat and it is just across the river from Burlington.
