formaldehyde study retracted?

on my facebook casaa feed aparently the new england journal of medicine has retracted the study. Can anyone confirm this? I am on my feature phone and my abilities .are liimited. Thanks mike

Still, that report has made it into the propaganda and isn't going away. Burnt is burnt, who would've guessed ... it would be more interesting to see what a slightly burnt hit results in. It wouldn't be a bad idea if starter kits came with a warning (not legally forced) such as "a burning flavor is NOT normal for an e-cigarette. Should this happen, discontinue use until the problem can be corrected" .

From the start this was compared to the dangerous components that could form by burning meat to an inedible state. Yes a steak can turn into carcinogens but no one in their right mind would eat it.

Glad to see they have back peddled some on this but as has been mentioned the damage is done the moment the media trumpets out the line that suits their agenda. The information available to the general public on vaping is so conflicting it is no wonder there is confusion, confusion is the seed for doubt and that is the only leg TC has left to stand on once the science is looked at. Unfortunately FUD is a very powerful tool that is easier for many to absorb than facts.
