Hey guys,

Thanks to all the helpful information I have been able to extract from ECF, I am happy to report that I am 100% cigarette free since 3/11! I was a pack and half a day smoker (Parliament Lights) for 15 years, and could not even fathom the idea of quitting as early as this February, so thank you all for this wonderful community!

Small bit of background on my journey so far: I started out going to Vapor-4-Life's brick and mortar store, and was set up with a XL automatic Dial-A-Volt, a few cartotanks, and some "Kamal" e-juice. I was not smoking, that felt absolutely amazing, and the small milestones kept me going (1 day without smoking, 1 week, 2 weeks, etc), but I was running out of battery life and the juice did not taste pleasant to me at all. I then went to a B&M called Modern Vapor and they set me up with Halo Longhorn, Tribecca, some locally made Peach, Cherry Cola, Fruit Stripe Gum and a Vivi-Nova 2.5 (large and small). This was great, I was really begging to enjoy my vape, and it was quickly becoming more and more enjoyable. My pallet began to open, and I discovered that I am a fruity / sweet vape fan with the help from an awesome order from Fuzion Vapor. Just over a month in my brother gave me with a ProVari 2.5 for my birthday, literally out of the blue . Needless to say I have an amazing brother, he took it upon himself to research vaping, and find this fantastic device to support me in a positive change in my life. Between the ProVari, going to VapeBash, and placing three large sample orders from HHV, Fuzion, and AVE I have more juice than I can shake a stick at, just waiting to steep, and get dripped!

Thanks for reading, vape on guys! :vapor:

Welcome and congrats Vap0r!

I know *exactly* what you mean. I'd tried *everything* to get off of cigarettes (and to STAY off them) including gum, patches, prescription drugs, cold turkey, and on more than one occasion e-cigarettes (things have come a LONG ways in the last four years!) Two months ago I couldn't imagine quitting so easily. I had a friend who quit with the help of an eGo and a vivi nova from a new B&M store nearby. I thought I would give it another go but really didn't plan on it working so fast or so well. I quit on day one with a vision Spinner and a cheap stardust clone... and I still have two and a half packs of smokes left! Well... actually, to show a friend my conviction, I took a power saw to one un-opened pack ;) My wife, someone who I thought would have a cigarette in her mouth for her dying breath, quit just as easily the next week.

Great brother you have for sure. Not just a nice b-day present but who knows... that present might have saved your life. :)

Hi, I've lurked here for some time and am just now starting to post. My wife gave up cigarettes three years ago, completely from vaping. I quit with snus at the same time, but started vaping just for fun about 6 months ago, since there were always supplies around. I don't think I would have been able to quit with just the ecig. However, I just discovered WTA juices and they are amazing. My snussing has been cut from non stop to just a couple a day!
