I don't think everyone realizes how many tweaks need to be made to get the forum up where it should be. Fixing some things breaks others, and then those need to be fixed.

Alex is doing a fantastic job, and I, for one, really appreciate his efforts. Not only have our code monkeys fixed a lot of rather large database issues, but they upgraded the forum software, which will allow us to add a lot more neat features to the forum pretty soon.

So pardon our dust, but we're working to make this place even better, as well as more stable. This is the biggest forum I have ever had to manage, and it is really staggering to see exactly how much it takes to keep it running.

angus, everybody here appreciates alex without a doubt and values what he does.
but alex usually wants feedback to make sure the issue is really fixed and i, plus some others, misunderstood his earlier post and thought he was done.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean it as a slight to anyone. It still amazes me how much it takes to keep this forum going. I am in awe of guys like Alex, because he does things I couldn't even conceive of.

I am definitely nothing close to a code monkey. I'm just a lowly forum jockey.

Agreed. Maybe I misunderstood too, but I thought Alex said "the whole site was upgraded, and to report any/all problems" .. ?? I don't think anyone is complaining!

Alex, you are doing a fantastic job!!

(he fixed something I mentioned almost immediately!! and even PMed to check!)

You can disable the warnings, Internet Options -> Advanced Tab -> Browsing Section -> Disable Script debugging (there's two) and Display notification about every script error.

let me see what the problem is however
