Guess you haven't seen them since they come and go. Little things like displaying the number of posts you have in a thread. A few other things too. I think they are seeing if they work. The number of posts thing is a little distracting so they may have turned it on for a few minutes and turned it back off. When you do see it it shows up in the left column.

I know I can't be the only one that's been seeing this.......
