Another great looking design. I like these as they are not relying on the spring in the circuit. As said above they are similar to the original Fatdaddyvapes design which I actually like better due to the extra 22mm ring that can be added under the assembly to creat a flush mount for atomizers. If this ring on the Varitube is 22mm I would def get one to try out.
You can flush mount this connector by drilling out 1mm. Also, this connector is a original design.

Whatever, woot, glad they made them, that is an awesome size deck @14mm the fatdaddy 22mm base was huge for my modding.
** Totally forgot Craighb gave his drawing to Bap and Bap made that spinoff in which Fatdaddy also made a small change..

Well, whatever the case may be, it was released to the public to produce. I do know some changes have been made by the retailer who is selling these to make it better. Between the fatdaddy connector and this one, they are no doubt the best DIY spring loaded 510 connector for modders. What's good about this one is that it's low profile, it's only 1mm thick on top 14 mm dia. for smaller tight fitting installs. Not to mention you can't beat the price.

No, it's Craig's design modified by Bap to which Bap converted to make it spring loaded. The retailer who made these also modified and made some changes to it. Craig released his design to the public to produce.

My 510 threads are starting to go out on me all at once, shimming them with small gauge wire so a huge thanks for them doing it. The initial price was huge for a small batch and they are doing it huge at great prices..

just received two of these connectors. great quality, threads are super smooth inside and out. Super fast shipping, you do need to be careful soldering the positive lead on, its easy to melt the insulator... mine still works, just got a little melty...
If you are doing a mechanical mod, the connection would be made by touching the battery to the pin in some manner. A unregulated mod would be soldered in the same manner as a vv mod.
Good luck getting one. Ive been trying to for 3 re-stocking sessions, each time some {MODERATED} or another happens and hes out of em. Second time he sold all of em a day before his site said they were coming back in to stock, {MODERATED}. i just forgot to look today and they were gone as usual.
Im happy with the varitube connectors.
