I've been wanting something like this for a while, when I finally became aware of this model it was out of stock everywhere. Finally caught them in stock and got one ordered last night. I was expecting to find one for 18mm batteries but this one uses 14500's which I think is even better. I'll post pics and results when it comes in. I've heard good things about the Fatty atty which is built on it. Forgot to mention its called The Novice by Chris Creations. Here's where I got it and a video for it, more like a commercial.

If anybody here has experience with these let me know what you think of it.

to me it seems their prices are quite high for most things, and that makes me think this may be a china build of something with who knows what quality. I am very interested to see what your thoughts are after hands on with it. a hybrid dripper seems rather cool

Chris Creations is definitely NOT China built.

CC is good stuff... I just hate the design of the Fatty Airhole.

Well it's here, and gotta say I'm loving it. I didn't catch the part about nipple down, couldn't get it to fire so I put a smaller oring on the switch and its working fine. I've got Nextel in it with 29g wire and its hitting like a beast. Love the size and feel of it, and the draw is perfect for me. I prefer the slit to a larger round hole. Here it is with my other mods for a size comparison. Gotta go shopping I'll post a shot of the coil later tonight.

I started having some misfires so I switched back to original oring and flipped the battery like its supposed to be. Didn't really help, I still had to spin the button to find good contact. I wound up taking the switch apart, there was some type of locktite on the threads of the screw add pooled in the button where the spring touches. I removed all of it and flipped the spring upside down. It's firing every time now but the spring is a lot stiffer. I'm gonna replace the screw with a brass one and get a better and lighter spring. The screw seems to be 5-40 threads, which I don't have. I don't think this is a common issue, at least I haven't seen any mention of it. I think it just got a little too much locktite when it was put together. It might have even been super glue, it was clear and didn't have the usual smell of locktite. I'm still really impressed with it, best $100 I've spent in a while.
