My 510 arrived four weeks ago today, and since I've had it, I've had zero regular cigarettes, despite the fact that they're still around. (My wife still smokes.) I started on e-cigs back in June, with the Smoke-51 system. What the hell, we didn't know any better at the time.

I didn't make any great effort to give up the burning leaves. It just sort of happened. When I was using the Smoke-51 during the day at work, I'd always come home and smoke some of her 1/2 length butts.

But the little 510 has just been such a workhorse. I only have 2 batteries, and I bought some extra atomizers, but have only been rotating two of them. Every week or so, I'll swap one out and soak the other in isopropyl alcohol overnight, then let it dry for a day.

I'm also rotating 5 different cartidges with 5 different flavors: No. 7 medium, Virginia 26 mg, 555 18 mg, Ecopure Rich 24 mg, and French Pipe 26 mg. So far, my fave is the French Pipe, with 555 and Virginia tied for a close second.

I recently got a VaporKing system for my wife, since she wasn't interested in all the topping, dropping, cleaning, and general fussing associated with the 510. She likes it so far, but she still sneeks an analog now and then. But no pressure from me. She'll come around. Especially now that the weather is getting colder. We made a pact last June that there would be no more real cigarettes in the house.

I'm going in for a routine visit to the doctor at the end of this month, and I can't wait to tell him I haven't had a smoke since September 23! And this, after 30+ years of smoking.

Congrats 144man. I had 40+ years of smoking analogs and quit them the day my wife and I started vaping. She smoked for 30+ years. Hasn't been a cig in our house for months.

Hang in there wgm. This is a great web site and all of your questions have already been answered somewhere in these postings. Use that "Search".

Welcome!

144man, good for you! and your wife too! Personally, I think this is more fun than smoking, and I love trying new juices and even making some of my own. It's a wonderful feeling not being a smoker any more, and like you, I'm looking forward to telling my doc! Good luck and enjoy yourselves! :)
