freakin' customs thief....

So, I get my little peach (is that the right color?) slip in the mail, saying PO has a package for me. Tracking, of course matches up to my EAGERLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! awaited for K100 (clone) and steam turbine rba(clone).

Get to the PO this morning, and they hand me a suspiciously flat padded envelope, with nice green "EXAMINED BY: customs and border protection" tape along one side:



Opening it, the only thing inside is the packing list, wire, wick, and the plastic sleeve-y thing I assume the K100 was in.



Dang, they couldn't even be nice enough to leave me a "thanks for the new vape hardware, sucker" note!

For those of you more fasttech savvy than me, am I [edited]OL, or will FT cover this? Otherwise, that is any awfully expensive wick/wire combo.

US CBP tape has an official seal in addition to the lettering. Looks like they nipped you overseas.

If that is a fasttech order I bet you got nailed in Hong Kong customs/post. Contact fasttech and see what they said. THere are some real problems getting through Hong Kong the last month or 2.

It looks like US customs are the ones who opened it. My (amazingly) friendly PO person said they (customs) have been opening anything they feel like lately, and have been using the green tape with no seal. Depending on where they cut the tape off the roll, you may or may not get a seal.

That, of course doesn't prove it did NOT get opened overseas. Waiting to see what FT has to say.

So much for a Happy vaping Birthday to me. Monday. Was really looking forward to firing this thing up, and playing with the turbine.

That's what makes this soooo (not) funny. My virgin FT order was placed on the 14th of Oct, just got here Wed. This order was placed on the 31st, shipped on 1 Nov, would have arrived yesterday if I was at home at the time.My first order had about 20 different items, went free shipping, and arrived unmolested (just took forever). I paid for faster shipping this time, not faster screwing.

You don't know that it was Chinese Customs that opened the OP's package. As has been said above, it could have been US Customs.

Unlucky dude, that's worse than being stung for customs duties, I am guessing if you complained to US customs they would deny taking them out. Probably some bored minion at the end of his shift forgot to put them back in and then binned them to avoid any fuss.
