I have been using electrical tape in which I also cut a window in with my exacto razor knife.
Its black and matches my twists but...

I tried putting some clear packing tape around a tank and then coloring over it with a red marker (I didn't want to put it directly on the tube) but the color keeps coming off on my fingers... LOL!!

I love the tank wraps! I have dropped mine so many times in the past and ended up with broken glass so sad! These tank wraps are a godsend!!
