I should start by saying that i love freedomsmoke usa. they are just a fantastic company run by good people with a great selection and desire to keep their customers happy.The clincher for me though was the quality of their product - as a whole, they are consistent,taste great (with none of the chemical aftertaste/undertone thing that seems to be prevalent in most other hand mixed usa companies' juices), produce great vapor and don't gum up my atomizers.
Because of that,over the last month, i've ordered alot of their juices (there's 25 flavors or so here)
and figured i should do some reviews on them. as back ground for all the reviews i'm using all 3.7v devices ( ego,510 and 14500 battery box) in carts with a spring and poly plug.I haven't had a cigarette in better than two weeks now and my tastes are still changing a bit and my throat is just destroyed from 20 years of non filters and kings so keep that in mind.
I usually keep two different pv's going each day with a different liquids in each and figured i could start with the ones i'm most familiar with and add in more reviews as i go along.
today i'm puffing away on my normal juice that is a mix of 6pts wyatt earp,3pts menthol ultra ( both 24mg) to 1 part of straight no nic vg in my 510. in my ego i've got their hypnotic mist at 24mg.
HYPNOTIC MIST:
The flavor of this is hard to describe.it's sort of a mildly sweet citrus/cotton candy flavor that is just mellow and relaxing.i get a bit of a sweet cotton candy on the inhale with a bit of a clean citrus (lemon maybe) on the exhale.Vapor production is great and throat hit is relatively mild and the overall experience just gives me the warm fuzzies.I don't know why that is as i don't usually dig fruits or citrus stuff but i really,really dig the hynotic mist after it ages for about a week.it's a great liquid with no weird underlying flavors for late night puffage.
WYATT EARP:
Their website has this listed as a signature cowboy tobacco blend (whatever that means
).To me, i get just a hint of an underlying smooth,peppery tobacco taste on the exhale with a heavy honey taste on the inhale .overall,it's a smooth very satisfying juice with a mild throat hit and great vapor production.
I use this juice almost daily mixed with fsusa's menthol ultra that brings out the sweetness and adds just a bit of cooling and a bit of vg to smooth it out just a bit.The wyatt earp is a must have juice for me and i absolutely love it.
Thin mint cookie (24mg) :
This is the juice that absolutely killed my desire for regular cigarettes and showed me just how good a pv could taste when compared to tobacco.There's a fairly strong mint flavor on the inhale and exhale with just a small underlying chocolate taste. If anything, i would call this a hybrid thin mint cookie and peppermint pattie. there's no weird aftertaste and all the flavors taste natural ( for lack of a better term) throat hit is minimal and vapor production is great.This is my wife's all day juice - she loves it.
Cappuccino smooth (24mg):
This is exactly what it says it is - a smooth,sweet creamy cappuccino flavor with just a hint of coffee and a little bit of a caramel undertone.This juice has a medium throat hit, good vapor production and is a fantastic after dinner / late night juice that gets alot of use around here.Lots of coffee flavors i've tried so far have a weird slightly fake sickly sweet taste to them that immediately turns me off. there's none of that here, just a hint of strong coffee on the inhale with a slightly sweet caramel and cream taste on the exhale.
LICORICE 12mg 100%pg
I bought this liquid while i was exploring the difference between pg and vg and was looking for a low mg late night juice.
at any rate, in 100 percent pg the vapor production is a bit low and due to the lower nicotine level it doesn't have much of a throat hit. the taste however, is outstanding.i'm a bit of a licorice snob and here lately my fave has been the black panda - this reminds me of the panda with a bit less anise and sweetness.
overall, it's a very clean simple juice with no weird flavors and a pretty light licorice that kind of floats on top of things. it's a great late night or after dinner juice or anytime when clean with light flavor would be good.
DARK VAPURE 24MG 50/50
This is one of the juices i use for when i'm really wanting a regular cigarette.there's a bit of caramel and tobacco on the inhale,pretty hard throat hit,and the exhale is a bit of dry dark chocolate mixed with what i can only describe as an underlying ashtray taste ( if you can imagine a good version of what an ashtray smells like) .for a tobacco with just a hint of chocolate, this stuff is fantastic and the underlying chocolate seems to build the longer you puff on it.I dig it alot.
French toast 24mg 50/50
I'm not really a french toast fan at all but, pam saw fit to throw this in on a previous order as a sampler.I was feeling a little wild and crazy tonight and thought i'd puff a cart of it.
the moment you pull the cap off,the smell of maple syrup wafts out of the bottle.this smell continues to to the exhaled vapor - when puffing on it, the entire room smells like sunday breakfast even though the vapor production is relatively low.i expected this to just taste like maple but it's alot more complex than that - on the inhale there is an almost egg-like component with just a bit of maple with a really nice subtle sweetness on the exhale.throat hit is excellent (err...eggcelent) and there is a a faint french toast aftertaste.
not being a fan of the real thing i fully expected to hate this and thought that i would have a bad fake maple taste in my mouth for hours but, that was just not the case.Overall it's a very clean juice with no strange lingering flavors that tastes just like it is supposed to.If you dig french toast (or anything with maple syrup for that matter) this is your juice.
RY4:24MG 50/50
I don't really think i can add much that hasn't been said by other people about this juice - it's amazing .it has a mildly sweet caramel taste on the inhale with maybe a hint of coffee and a really nice, rich tobacco flavor underneath.on the exhale you get the same smooth tobacco with a bit of a nutty caramel and a clean aftertaste .The throat hit is solid without being harsh and vapor production is stellar.Overall , this is a very satisfying smooth tobacco that is great for late nights or anytime you want to relax with a complex tobacco.
There's the reviews for the last couple of days and i'll add more as i go through them.Like i said,being a vegetarian and ex smoker may change my perception of things a bit but , fsusa's juices are great overall and i just don't see how you could go wrong with them.
