Up to now I have been lucky enough to receive the whole Maxus series (Resin Edition) produced by FreeMax for my tests, with this we arrived at 4 Maxus mod.
All these mods for one reason or another I really liked and in the family they are used regularly.
One in particular surprised me a lot for the technology applied and it is the Maxus 200W model with double battery "Smartload Tech Load At Will" the Mod works perfectly with any direction of insertion of the two cells, but is also able to work with only one 18650 battery inserted!
Freemax very kindly sent me the new Metal Edition model to find out what the differences are with the previous kit and for this I thank them.

Packaging:
The Packaging with which the Maxus Metal Edition kit arrives is almost the same as the previous one (Resin edition), only the front image changes and some new features that are described on the back.

The renewed Freemax M2 PRO Metal Edition atomizer can also be purchased separately together with all your favorite Coiltechs (M1-M2-M3-M4).

Kit colors:
Maxus 200W Metal Edition is currently available in four different colors, two of which maintain a sporty line and are the Marble Black and Stabwood Rainbow versions. The other two have a much more classic and "serious" look are the Gunmetal and Silver variants. I received the Silver version for this test.
"Metal" and "Resin" Edition naturally use a different filler material on the Mod panels, this detail combined with other small differences due to the Tank M2 PRO update raise the weight of the Kit by about 12 grams.
M2 PRO Metal Edition Tank:
The Metal Edition is designed with an ISO 8317 certified child protection top fill design obtained in Canada. All you have to do is simply lift and slide the Top-Cap and then refill the tank super easily and safely.
This edition includes four different colors of the tank.
