I used to vape juicy vapors French toast with a dual coil smoke tech carto. That was more than a year ago and recently I got some more but with generic CE4 cartos. The taste was disappointing it left a weird taste at first then started tasting burnt. It used to be my favorite vape but the taste jus isn't the same. I think it might be the wick. The juice is nearly black and I've been told more color means thicker juice which can be harde to vape. I'm unsure of how to get the taste right. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks guys

a carto or carto tank is best for dark/thick/sweet. They taste like garbage and just gunk up in clearos. Some of my favorites are this way and since I like to fill evods for my day at work and not deal with a carto tank - so some of my favorites have to wait until I am home and have the patience!

Personally, I find that dark juices clog up my cartos fast. I use my BCC Kanger Protank 2 or Smoktech RSST for those. Also, I use no more than 8 watts to vape them. You'll have to clean/replace the coils often. Sounds like you are having a combination issue with too high voltage for the coil, dark juice issues, perhaps PG/VG ration issues and maybe drawing too long. Vaping has a learning curve as do juices. Good luck and have fun!

More VG means Thicker Juice. While I prefer Clearer liquids for longevity, darkers juices can still be rather thin. Just depends on the pg/vg blend and any additives(Alcohol/h2o)
Temperature is most likely suspect.
To hot e-liquids tend to burn(dyes/flavoring)
To cool and they load the wick/coil with goop

A few drops of distilled water will help reduce the viscosity of darker, high VG liquids.

A little bit goes a long way. Start with one or two drops in a 1.6ml tank, shake well to mix. Give the wicks a few minutes and try it. If it's still too gloppy, try another one or two drops.

Did I mention that a little bit goes a long way? Overdo it and you'll destroy the flavor profile of the liquid.

Thanks everyone. I got it at ...........com and it is a great vape. One of m favorites. Just gotta getthe taste back. I guess i could use the old smok tech cartos but they just seemed cheap. And i figure i could get a way better carto to do the job just dont know which one. Their wake n vape flavor is really good too. Its like coffee with tobacco. Its got an interestig taste. If i had the cash id get it. Im sure it work fine in a wicked carto tank. They have quality vapes with a lot of flavors. Like over 600 or something

I second every thing mentioned here. You can also try cutting the thick juices with distilled water to loosen them up, 1-3 drops per tank. For the darkest, thickest, sweetest juices I try not to go over 6 watts. You get better flavor at 8 - 10 but dang, my coils don't last long when I do.
