Hello everyone, I am Ben. I've been a pack+ a day smoker for years and have considered ecigs for quite some time. Just couldn't get past the hurdle of initial cost. Lucky for me, a lovely neighborhood bartender got me an ego starter kit on New Years Eve, and now here I am, a month and a half later having only had 1 analog (new years day, thanks to a dead battery at 1:45am).

But since then, I have dove pretty deep into ecigs. After about 2 weeks I upgraded to a Kanger evod and itaste vv3 and thought I was gonna be set. A week later a regular at the bar loved my setup so much more than his own that he made me an offer I couldn't refuse and bought it off me on the spot. So I thought hey, why not use this opportunity to upgrade a little more. Went and picked up a protank2 and Vammo V5. Was pretty sure that setup would be it. Heck I love it. But thanks to lurking on this site I just could not then shake the urge to learn to rebuild atomizers. Cannot even begin a guess as to how many threads I've read through on here trying to understand everything I could until I knew if I wanted to learn more, I'd have to do it myself. So swang by the local vape store to get supplies to try and rebuild a kanger atomizer after all the youtube videos I had seen, and walked out the door with an IGO-W and KTS+. At first I felt like I dropped an unnecessary $100... but now... WOW!

Maybe I'm trading my nic habit with tinkering (been on 6mg from the start), but I'm alright with that. Checked the "how much have you saved since quitting" counter from regular cigs and I'm still saving so far. Although I imagine now, I really will be able to hold off on big upgrades for the foreseeable future. Gotta say, ECF has definitely been an enabler, without everything I have read here I am not so sure I wouldn't have just given up on the CE4 ego and gone back to cigs, but already the smell of good ole analogs are turning my stomach. Feels good to finally join!

Thanks! I can imagine the next voyage being playing with juices. So far I'm quite content with French vanilla, which hands down beats the bacon flavor she originally got me. I have to give her credit, I love bacon, bacon is awesome, but somehow that awesomeness is lost in vaping. Kinda tastes salty. That being said, not sure what direction I want to go with flavors as I typically avoid overly sweet things, but we shall see.

Lurking around here can sure $save$; so glad to hear it.

and btw, if you get the minprotank, the base fits on the protank, just add an extra silicone cap on top inverted to seal; better connection, less problems from a minor leak.
