Hi All,

I started out on Skycig lookalikes but needed something more.
I moved on to a eGo-T battery with atomiser and tank arrangement but
within 4 days one atomizer had stopped completely and the other just
tasted burnt no matter what I did.

I just got myself a Kanger T2 2.4ml clearomizer to use with my eGo-T battery.
Wow, been using it for 2 days and I love it. Easy to fill. Holds loads of juice.
Great taste and amazing vapour.

But.. today (day 2) the clearomizer has started to leak where the plastic barrel
joins the base. Aargh!

I just want equipment that will vape reliably day to day. Is that too much to ask?

I've emailed the supplier to see what they have to say.

Has anyone else had one of these clearomizers spring a leak at the bottom?

Does the tank look like it's reacting to the juice at all? Cloudy or cracking at the bottom? I know some strawberry juices are more acidic than others. ECF has a large list of known tank killers at: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-24.html

I'm sorry you're having this problem, hopefully it's not the juice and your vendor will do something for you. 2 days is not very much time at all for any tank, though some juices will eat them alive overnight, and vendors don't usually cover that.

I bought the disposable clearomizer for a few dollars and have been using it for a month, clean it and fill constantly, no leaks or burnt taste. These may be something to look into. I am new to this vaping but have not had anything as far as problems go, for the most part. One tank on original leaked a little, that is when I saw the clearo.

Fwiw they redesigned the mouthpiece due to cracking. Supposedly is doing much better now. Look for the v2 designation and I know one vender is selling replacement mouthpieces. I think it might have been stormies but not sure. I am having burnt taste issues with mine at anything over 3.5 volts but love everything else about them.

While the Kanger T2 has a slight leak, it is still usable. However, it is starting to taste a little burnt even with plenty of juice in the tank and lots of tipping to keep the wicks wet. I suspect the head coil might be giving up.

The vendor sent me another Kanger T2 to try, to see if it leaks too and I have to say it looks like it is going that way.

Neither of these tanks is suffering from cracked mouthpieces. It's a shame about the leaking because these tanks are very easy to work with and give loads of vapor and flavor.

I also just bought a Vision Ego V3 Rainbow (possibly called Starburst in US).
This is a very nice tank that can be taken apart and the individual parts can be bought and replaced.
However, the base has no airholes and when attached to my Ego battery it makes for a very tight draw with less vapor.

It looks like it's going to be hard to find the perfect solution as there always seems to be something that lets them down.

I've had similar problems with the Stardust; sometimes it works ok and sometimes you get yourself I nice draw of warm, unvaporized juice. I tend to like Black Tea and/or Earl Grey and have no desire to smoke a fruitcake. I can't say that the Stardust V2 is all that much a better product; the Vivi Nova seems to be a better overall finished product albeit it is like carrying around a vat of juice at any given time.

No matter what clearomizer you use, you'll end up having issues with leaking/cracking if you use acidic juices. Your best bet is to use Vivi Novas and get the aluminum replacement tubes for them.

If you look at the base of unit there should be 4 notch's for the airflow.Maybe you are tightening them on to the battery too hard. I,ve found the draw on the ones I've used very good indeed :)
