I just got started with a V2 kit and immediately determined that wasn't what I was looking for, so I ordered a ProVari with a Vivi Nova. Hopefully it should get here tomorrow.

My biggest frustration now is trying to find high quality stuff. I don't mind spending a few dollars for quality items, but every site I find is completely out of stock for everything I want. And from what I can tell the best stuff can't be back ordered, you have to be actively trolling the site the instant it goes on sale to have any chance to get it.

Is there something I'm missing?

do not cut notches in the vivi nova rubber above the wicks like some people have recommended. i JUST did that 10 minutes ago and it filled everything with juice including my mouth. i just rotated it so the notches i cut are not above the wicks and it's 100 again after i blew it out and cleaned up my battery.

just tilt and swirl it.

A lot of the really great stuff (certain pvs, rebuildable atomizers, etc.) is hard to buy because they're made in small batches. I waited 2 months to buy a Kayfun v3.1es rebuildable atomizer and once they were loaded to the site they sold out in 25 mins...thankfully I got one. Other good mass produced stuff is as others have said only trickling in the last few weeks due to Chinese New Year which lasts about 2 weeks.

From what I hear - and not (yet!) from any experience - what you really want to do is get settled into here and active in the community. Once you've got enough posts, you can get Verified and start taking part in the co-op, where a bunch of people get together to put in an order, (I think) bypassing the resellers and going straight to the manufacturers.

As far as I understand, stock is low because many products are imported from China & the Chinese New Year has delayed imports for the time being. Additionally, American made products are often produced by small shops & keeping up with the high demand is difficult; a happy dilemma, I imagine.

I think this is the explanation I was looking for. Thanks for pointing it out. I hadn't considered supply chain issues. Makes perfect sense.

I was wondering about that. Thanks for the heads up.
