Anyone else feel really frustrated with vaping after a month? I have bought 30+ bottles of eliquid and nothing tastes like it should. Everything is just bland or not vapable at all. I have bought from 4 vendors and they aren't the high quality stuff but you would think after 30 bottles something would be worth having. I have been building coils with cotton for my protanks and this week have tried an igo-w with several different coils searching for flavor. Nothing is working and I want a cigarette worse now than when I first started this journey. I did have a few days of "vapers fatigue" but even now things are just not what I was expecting. If one juice would just taste close to the description I would be a little better off.

Well it feels good to get that off my chest. God I want a cigarette!

It sounds like you are familiar with vaper's tongue, which I wasn't when I quit the stinkies. Just remember, it will pass. One thing that helps vapers , in general, is to drink more water. Vapor dries you out, and you need your mouth to be moist to taste subtle flavors.

That all said, where are you getting your liquids? And are you ordering flavor shots to counteract vaping fatigue? Again, increasing flavors will burn out your taste receptors. Counter intuitive, but true.

Keep trying different vendors. It can't hurt (except your wallet) to get to know as many as you can. Who knows, you might luck into your all day vape.

Good luck, and vape on.

What nicotine level are you at? How much did you smoke? Are you vaping high vg liquids? These things can make a difference. You need to drink lots of water and then some more. The foods you eat will affect the taste of your vape. Drink more water. Switch up flavor types. Have you tried menthols or mints?

These are some ideas of things to look at. I only really liked one juice for the first 5 months I vaped. I found I got the best flavor by dripping into a regular 510 atty. You can pick them up for a few dollars in several places. Here is a thread to check out about dripping into regular atomizers. It is cheaper and easier than getting into all the rebuildables, unless you are into that.

Here are a few threads to check out. Try the Juice Swap threads. A great way to get rid of ones you do not like and to try new vendors and flavors. You may strike gold.

I found I had to up my nicotine from 18mg to 24mg after my first week of vaping. I stayed at 24mg for about 6 months and then started stepping down. You may want a higher nic level for times you have cravings. This is normal, though frustrating when quitting smoking.

If I drink anymore water I'll float. I haven't had a eliquid taste worth a darn from the start. I had one 10ml of cherry that was fairly flavorful compared to the others but it has red dye so I don't want to get that one again. I have tried MBV, affordable vaping, killer juice and myfreedomsmokes. So far myfreedomsmokes is the best of the four but still nothing to write home about. I have a few tobaccos from them that are ok they are also where I got the cherry. I feel like the vaper tounge is gone since the stuff I had prior tastes the same as I remember.

I am vaping on an MVP v2 with several protank2s and an igo-w. In a couple of months I plan on getting a mech mod or a dna30 with the hopes of more power bringing more flavor.

Post what you've tried, and what you think sounds good...maybe someone will have a good recommendation. Finding a flavor you like is a critical step in quitting the cigs, for certain. It sounds like you are NOT having "equipment issues" like many do (no vapor, leaking, etc ), so if you find that, you're on the right track.

And you MAY want to throw in a few random experiments. MANY people are at first searching for a tobacco flavor like their cigs. Then all of a sudden, they realize "Hey, that blueberry smoothie is really good!". LOL

I started out the other way. I was looking for more of a dessert or fruit vape and am now leaning more to the tobacco flavors. Of course the tobaccos I can taste and the other liquids are junk to me. I am going to try Nicoticket and juice mafia premium line next. I have heard good things about them both.

Lol. Good. Sounds like you have all of your bases covered. It may just be down to your juice at this point.

Steeping (letting juice sit for a few days to a few weeks) will allow flavors to mature. Some juices are boring/gross when you first receive them, but their flavor profiles most likely will change over time.

And I can't overstate this next point... Try new juices. Nicoticket, Heather's Heavenly, Juice Mafia, etc. There are a million vendors who make similar products, but some are just better at it than others. Not discounting the vendors you've tried, I LOVE MBV!, but there's more out there. Throw your money at them and find something you like. Then start a new thread about how poor you are (like the rest of us)! :D

I ended up with a PG70/VG30 mix for extra flavor. Are there any B&Ms near you that mix their own juices? Most of them will make up some samplers of varying PG/VG mixes to find that sweet spot. With the MVP what are your V/W set to? I found my hits taste better around the 4.5V / 9W range. Never tried online for my juices but I have a shop across the street so I get my juice from them. I have heard from several people that the online range needs to be steeped for a week or so to achieve full flavor. Good Luck and happy vaping.

I struggle with taste also. I find many juices for me have no flavor at all it's like vaping straight vg/pg. I keep trying though, and in the process end up with a flavor here or a flavor here that, wham, there is the taste Ive been looking for. I'd like to suggest to you to try Vape Dudes juice, I get 50/50 with 18 or 24 ml of nicotine. Peach Ice, Bluberry Lemonade are two I can suggest, I order it with an extra flavor shot and they are tasty. Another vendor I have luck with is Madd Catt Vapor, straight out of the mail, tney are another one I can TASTE. Those are a couple that I can go to to find taste when others fail me. Good Luck in your search, you will find some that work for you.

I had the exact same problem when I started. It was damn near impossible to find a flavor that I could deal with all day. Then I started making my own, that way I had more control over what flavors stood out most. I little tricky at first striking balances but with a little work it paid off. I still sometimes have trouble vaping a flavor after a few days though, and I've found that vaping vp and nic actually helps. No flavor, just vape. It reminds me of smoking 00 pipe tobacco in a way, just brings all the flavors I love back to life when I put them back in. Just my two cents.

If I'm being honest, and this is just speaking for me, most of the new juices I try end up being crap, I say crap as in either no flavor, or flavor that has nothing to do with what's on the label. Again, just for me, it is a matter of trying enough juices to find a few that I like, it's a numbers game right now anyways. Ill just keep trying more and more till I get enough that I like.

I hate to hear others are having the same problem as me but glad I am not alone. I have started drinking even more water. I mean I am SICK of water but I keep putting it down. Now i am frustrated with having to take a leak every few minutes. Man the juice better taste freaking good when I can taste it again.

I did have a very generous member send me some samples and there was a lime juice in there that I was able to taste. That has kept me off the ciggs so far.

When I first started vaping, waaay back in the day, I bought all my liquids online and mostly had to buy them before I could try them. I ended up buying so many different flavors that I literally had 30 or so stashed away and I was only vaping 2 or 3 of them. I ended straying from the path (for many reasons) and going back to smoking...

When I started vaping again I went to a brick and mortar store in my hometown. I was (finally!) able to actually try the flavors before spending money on them. This, as well as the changes in technology over the years, has made a world of difference to me.

So my suggestion to you is, find a brick and mortar store in your area and try the flavors they have. Even if you only go once, you can ask them to mail you liquid if you want, or just find a flavor type that suits you and then start shopping online. It may cost a tad more and you have to go out of your way, but it's well worth it to be able to try 60 or so different flavors for free.

Also (as others have suggested) yank up the nicotine a notch, at least for now. It's very common to underestimate the dose you need. You wanna get it to a level where your normal vaping leaves you with no cravings. You can always try dropping it back down in a few months if you want.

Curious, which flavours from killer juice? The only one that's not been vape-able out of the box for me is their custard.(Needs steeping) The other got nice flavours, i'm using an RDA/RBA so that might change the game abit.

If you're looking for tobacco juices i can strongly advice you to try vanilla bogart from strix elixirs. (Or just the bogart, but i like the vanilla one more, it's not as "dry" and a hint of vanilla at the end) It's a naturally extracted tobacco. It's currently my ADV.

I love fruity juices mostly, but only vaping them gets boring and i tend to change flavours alot. So getting a good tobacco to use inbetween is a good idea.

I've also read alot of good stuff about nicoticket. I'm waiting for some juice from them, frenilla and CLS.

And most important, don't give up! You'll find it eventually! :)
