So they Steep better in the sun. Hum, mine are in a dark bedroom in a cabinet.

You can use heat and shaking to steep a juice (I've even heard of people giving juices a quick blast in a microwave, but don't think I'd want to try this myself).

Or you can just leave the juice un-capped in a dark place and give them a daily shake to get things moving - obviously put the cap on before shaking though, or it might get messy

Ive read so many post on steeping and to tell ya the truth....Im dizzy!!!!! Hot water bath, dark cool place for an undetermined amount of time, lid on, lid off, put in glove box of vehicle, in the sun, out of the sun, in the dishwasher, ultra sonic cleaner!!! With all this and my inability to make a vapable juice beforehand, I do believe that premixed is the way to go, for me!! I dont have the patience nor the time to be chasing rainbows and unicorns!!! My hats off to those that have it figured out. Anyway, The cost of cigarettes is not the sole reason for me want to vape. Even vaping 10ml a day is a helluva lot cheaper than my cig habit, so off the Vape store I go!!! I do appreciate everyones advice and I will continue seeking your help. thank you!

PS. I got a lot of DYI stuff to get rid of now!!!

Oh, So there driffrent ways of doing it, In sunlight with cap on, or in dark w/o cap but put the cap on daily to shake it.

I just made a clone of Snake Oil this morning. When making a batch, what I do is take one of my old glass 30ml bottles and add my flavor mixture. Then, shake it up. Then boil water in a saucepan about 2.5 inches. As soon as the water starts to boil, i place the 30ml bottle with my flavoring in the center with the cap off. I let it boil in there for about 15 seconds to get it nice and hot, then turn off the burner and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Then take it out of the pan and let it sit to cool to room temp. Then add nic base, add lid and shake well. Then let it sit for a day or 2 with the lid off in dark place, shaking occasionally. Usually good to go after that. It certainly helps speed up the process.

WOW, its chemistry class all over again , ha ha, Well I mixed up my strawberry n cream and wasn't hard, its my go to juice when others are nasty. I have been using it since the first day of vaping, it seems about the same as day one. smell might get stronger but taste about the same, never steep it just mixed, shake 3 minutes and used. Was hoping all of them would be so easy, guess it really depends

I think it depends, too. When making snake oil clone, right out of the gate it tastes a little perfumy. It's good, but far better steeped. I think some flavors you can just mix right out of the bottle and they're more or less good to go. While other mixes, depending on flavors, require a little TLC to get things moving. I usually boil, well not boil, but heat up enough to help get any additives (sometimes even alcohol) out of the flavoring. That's essentially what steeping is, but just at a much slower rate as opposed to heating. You definitely don't want to over do it though. So I guess my method is a combination of both of what is being talked about haha. Glad to see i'm not crazy :p

I have tried the same thing. I bought a gallon of PG and a bit of VG.. I tried to mix them to the same % I buy and add the flavors I bought from the candy making shop. It was OK..but like you said, not what I usually buy... I don't know how much you spend at your local shop but VaporBomb is 15 for a 30 mil bottle and MadVapes sells a 50 ml bottle for the same price so maybe try their flavors..they are all organic and natural...

The only problem with mixing up your nic solution first, is that you will then dilute it by adding the flavour. Hope that makes sense :)

Probably best to use a good juice calculator, there's plenty out there. I normally use the "e-juice me up" calculator, I'd recommend this one.
