I ordered half a dozen different juices from FSUSA after reading a few reviews. Four of them are pretty well reviewed in the forums, but these two don't have much attention.
For both of these flavors admittedly I had fairly low expectations. I figured the mangosteen would taste something like nondescript sweetness. I didn't know what to expect with Baby Back Ribs, maybe a flavor similar to liquid smoke flavoring at best. I was totally and completely wrong on both. I tried both juices at 50/50 PG/VG and 18mg dripped on a 510 LR atty with eGo-T battery.
Mangosteen is (in my experience) most often found at Chinese restaurants, one buffet I go to has them out for desert regularly. They're white and about bite size round pieces of fruit. The flavor is similar to a pear but fuller and richer (for lack of a better word). The FSUSA juice tastes exactly like a mangosteen. All of the flavor of the actual fruit has been captured and put into the bottle. It is sweet but not too sweet with a very very light floral flavor on the exhale and there's a good aftertaste of smooth, almost creamy fruit. The flavor level is about the best I have ever had in a fruit flavored juice. If you've ever had a mangosteen and liked it I am sure you'll enjoy this. If you haven't and wonder what a mangosteen tastes like, this juice will give you a good idea; the flavor is spot on.
BBR: My first taste of a savory juice. My initial thought: "Wow, this is amazing!! They took all of the flavor of grilled meat and put it into a juice?!!? How did they do that?????" I swear could taste the grill marks and maybe even a little of the grilled fat flavor. I didn't notice any hint of sweetness like a bbq sauce, but there was more to the flavor than just smokey/grilled flavor. It was the taste of "cooked food". Much to my surprise, it actually tasted good!! The flavor was huge, there's no other way to describe it! That being said, I don't think I could vape this stuff for long. Maybe it will be my solution to the problem of "what am I going to vape with my beer?" since the only I time I still really want an analog is with a beer. I did have to clean and dry burn my atty I couple of times to get the flavor out so I would advise against trying this on something like an eGo-T, carto, or your favorite mod. If you're up from something different and novel then give this a try. Not an all day vape, but certainly interesting and a change from the usual tobacco or sweet fruit/candy choices.
I intentionally didn't comment on TH or vapor since there are so many PV variations now it is just too subjective. Even switching between my eGo-T, LR, and regular atty I get different results with flavor, TH, and vapor production.
