I ordered half a dozen different juices from FSUSA after reading a few reviews. Four of them are pretty well reviewed in the forums, but these two don't have much attention.

For both of these flavors admittedly I had fairly low expectations. I figured the mangosteen would taste something like nondescript sweetness. I didn't know what to expect with Baby Back Ribs, maybe a flavor similar to liquid smoke flavoring at best. I was totally and completely wrong on both. I tried both juices at 50/50 PG/VG and 18mg dripped on a 510 LR atty with eGo-T battery.

Mangosteen is (in my experience) most often found at Chinese restaurants, one buffet I go to has them out for desert regularly. They're white and about bite size round pieces of fruit. The flavor is similar to a pear but fuller and richer (for lack of a better word). The FSUSA juice tastes exactly like a mangosteen. All of the flavor of the actual fruit has been captured and put into the bottle. It is sweet but not too sweet with a very very light floral flavor on the exhale and there's a good aftertaste of smooth, almost creamy fruit. The flavor level is about the best I have ever had in a fruit flavored juice. If you've ever had a mangosteen and liked it I am sure you'll enjoy this. If you haven't and wonder what a mangosteen tastes like, this juice will give you a good idea; the flavor is spot on.

BBR: My first taste of a savory juice. My initial thought: "Wow, this is amazing!! They took all of the flavor of grilled meat and put it into a juice?!!? How did they do that?????" I swear could taste the grill marks and maybe even a little of the grilled fat flavor. I didn't notice any hint of sweetness like a bbq sauce, but there was more to the flavor than just smokey/grilled flavor. It was the taste of "cooked food". Much to my surprise, it actually tasted good!! The flavor was huge, there's no other way to describe it! That being said, I don't think I could vape this stuff for long. Maybe it will be my solution to the problem of "what am I going to vape with my beer?" since the only I time I still really want an analog is with a beer. I did have to clean and dry burn my atty I couple of times to get the flavor out so I would advise against trying this on something like an eGo-T, carto, or your favorite mod. If you're up from something different and novel then give this a try. Not an all day vape, but certainly interesting and a change from the usual tobacco or sweet fruit/candy choices.

I intentionally didn't comment on TH or vapor since there are so many PV variations now it is just too subjective. Even switching between my eGo-T, LR, and regular atty I get different results with flavor, TH, and vapor production.

Excellent review. Thanks for the post. I have four juice suppliers that I use on a regular basis because of the quality & consistency of their juices, and FSUSA is one of them. You also might want to try:
Gourmet Vapor
PureVapes
VapeRite

I agree of your assessment of the Baby Back Ribs - they have the flavor down, but it will never be one of my favorites.

Very nice review. I haven't had the best of luck with FSUSA juices, but the mangosteen is pretty special. It is a very, very accurate representation of canned mangosteen. If I may, I think the flavor is very close to canned litchi fruit. It also find it reminiscent of some canned guava juices I've had. I would say I find the flavor to be floral and musky. It is a very fine juice, indeed.

Keep up the good work!

Banjo, thanks much. I've tried a few from Gourmet Vapor and they were pretty good my favorite was Sunrise Over Ankarra. I haven't bought anything from the other two but I'll certainly take a look! :thumb:

Smacky, I couldn't come up with the right word, turns out you had it and that's why I couldn't find it! Musky is exactly right. FSUSA also has Lychee Pre-mixed maybe I'll have to give that a try for comparison.

This was my first juice review, I might do more as inspiration strikes me. I'm not so good at the "abstract" flavors. I mean I know what mangosteen, ribs, blueberry etc taste like. But when it comes to something like Voodoo or Liquid Amber I couldn't pick out what flavors are in there. I don't know what a Voodoo tastes like :p
Maybe my taste buds are still recovering from years of chemical torture?!?

Great review - I was looking at Baby Back Ribs, sounded interesting. Not sure I want to gunk up my atty with that taste.

It cleaned out of my atty just fine. It didn't kill it. If you're concerned just use an older atty. It is available in the smaller sample size. I didn't see that until I had already ordered it, I am pretty sure that my 5ml bottle will last me for quite some time.
