Hey guys,

I'm new to the vaping world. I decided to go cold on my cigarettes and I bought a iTasteVV vape yesterday. I don't know a whole lot about vaping, I just needed a way to stave off cigarettes, but get my nicotine fix in. So far, I really enjoy my vape. I had a cigarette when I came into work with some buddies like our usual routine, and I informed them I'm trying to quit by using this vape.

I'm coming from a pack and a half a day for 3 years, so I'm hoping I can really change. It probably won't be easy, but here's to hoping!

welcome aboard furbar,

The biggest part to being successful is already happening, wanting/willing to switch. I went from 2-3 packs a day to none as soon as I got my first kit over 3 years ago. Been very successful with the exception of 3 crazy nights where I woke up with a pack in my pockets. I was ready to put the stinkies down and it made it easier then what most of my friends switching experienced.

Thanks, guys! The iTaste is pretty awesome so far. I like that I can freely change voltages and check my vape count whenever I want. I'm a tech guy so little things like that are what get me. I can't remember the exact flavor I got, but it taste exactly like the hookah flavor Blue Mist, if anyone knows what that is. It is pretty awesome.

I imagine there are going to be times where we all mess up and light up. Are there any tools out there that you recommend that keep track of days/how many cigarettes you HAVEN'T smoked? Maybe one that even says how much money you've saved?

Welcome to ECF!! Congrats on starting your journey into vaping. After the first week, I was vaping full time and haven't smoked since. I never thought I'd be able to quit. Vaping has changed my life. I'm sure it will for you too. There's lots of encouragement here so don't be afraid to ask for help. Good luck!!

Welcome to another 904'er! If you want to quit, this will make it worlds easier. Over 3 years here after 25+ of smoking. These forums are a great support system, glad you got plugged in.

Awesome! I figured I'd find some Jax people here, but not so quickly! Do you recommend any shops here? I went to Vapemasters off of Beach

Money saved???:lol::lol: If you're a tech guy, I'm guessing you'll want to get other equipment just to play with. That's great that you got a juice that you like right out of the gate.

Do you mean a banner? There's an app called Vapermate that keeps track of everything. If you want a banner, you'll need more posts before you are eligible, can't remember how many. It's in the TOS. If you see one you like from someone else, most of them can be clicked on and it will take you to the website to create one.

Thanks, Susan. I figured, like most forums, there's a post restriction on signatures. Do you guys have multiple vapes? Is there a reason for that, other than just trying different tools out? I know with things I like, I always have many to choose from, specifically my hookahs. Am I going to need a new case for my vapes and juices?

some do have multiples for use, some stick with one style, others collector just like lighters. I personally have tons of devices 7 in fact next to me on the couch, and about 25 more in a storage bin across the room. each serving their own purpose of having certain flavors or style of vaping. The list below is outdated and most have been sold, given away or just stopped working.

Definitely need at least one more complete set up for a back up. Never know when something will fail and you don't want to be without working equipment at all times. Most have at multiples. There are several reasons why, one if trying new equipment, I like being able to change between flavors and having more than one set up makes it easy to just pick up another PV to use. Some people like different juices in different types of equipment. I'm sure there are more reasons. You will need some kind of carrying case. I never leave home without two complete set ups fully charged and a disposable e-cig.

Do you think a carrying case is needed? I've just been throwing mine in my pocket.
Though, the guys at the vape shop said my juices should last about 4-5 days with non-chain vaping, and I'm only at a day now and it is well below half way. Is that because the juices are dripping out, or did he exaggerate?
