LOL - I guess it's all relative as to how old we are (and you're only as old as you feel

) Don't over think it,

Well actually, "Old Time" is usually a term used usually to describe the image of the late 1800's and the first half of the 1900's, although sometimes used just to describe the first half the the 1900's and anything before that. So that use of the word isn't relative at all

What I'm trying to find out though is if Krakkan meant "Old Time" in the
sense that I just described or if he meant it more like the term "old school," which
would be relative then. But I'm leaning more towards the former because he said "it can be anything from Thomas Jefferson to John Wayne," and to me, that sounded like a range, which would therefore be from the beginning of the 1800's (Thomas Jefferson's Presidency) to the 1940's/1950's (the prime of John Wayne's career).
The thing is, I do traditional art and graphic design as a side job, so when I work on a project in photoshop it will take me hours and hours of working to be satisfied with the result. Obviously I wouldn't be spending as much time on something like this, but it will still take me a couple of hours to be happy with something, so I don't want to accidently waste my time on something that wouldn't even be considered "Old Time" by Krakkan. I guess I'll PM him tomorrow if he doesn't check th
thread by then.
I discovered this week that Guns 'N' Roses is considered '
Classic Rock'

Now who wouldv'e ever thought that?!
Why wouldn't you think that GnR is classic rock? Classic means a work of excellence, it doesn't mean old. It's just that usually the music has to be a decade or so old to know that it stands the test of time before it can be considered a classic. Nirvana is considered classic rock now too, and they were from the early 90's.
