Not good for Canadian winters though: As you get in the car your boots let brown slush and gravel or ice salt fall on the door step, which will splash it back at you when it closes or even get stuck between the window and the frame (AAARGGHHH!). I don't even dare imagine what that would do to all the electrical inside the door!

The BMW Z1 wasn't that expensive and was only available in EU though some have been privately imported to USA.
