Don't post stuff like this even if it is funny for those who know what the command does. For all those who don't know, this will essentially erase your disk. It's not a Mac thing either, it's just how Unix-based systems work.

P.S.: Putting your iPhone in the microwave won't speed up recharging it either, that only works for Android phones

The MacOS kernel is based on BSD Unix, Android is based on Linux another flavor of Unix. If you don't know better than to issue unknown commands on your machine, you deserve to be bricked. Having said that would your average Mac user even know how to open a command prompt?

For Linux users, rm -rf means reallocate memory really fast.
