Is that a different spelling on the French surname Dumas or are they literally referring to their clientele as dumb asses?

Actually I think it is an intentional play on words to be humorous. The name of the restaurant has an apostrophe in it ("Dumas's"), it's just not lit up in the sign in the first pic. People from Texas have pretty thick skin so no one around here takes any offense to it.
