I am looking to fuse kanthal to ni200 wire to make my own kanger occ coils at .5ohms. I've seen it posted to never use ni200 in a non temperature controlled device, but if there is kanthal used as the coils and only the legs are ni200 is it safe to do? I'm not sure what kanger uses in their stock .5 ohm coils, although I believe it is ni200 or nichrome.
