The absolute truth about how long they last me is that they vary much like any other carto except that they last longer on average than any others that I have tried. I've had a few that have lasted a few weeks before I tossed them and the one on my I-Pro right now is on day 6 and probably should have been tossed yesterday. That's when the flavor started to be noticeably funkier.
Bear in mind that I usually toss a carto when there is the first sign of flavor loss. I rarely wait for the draw to get tighter and I've never had one burn out (is that even possible?).
I buy them 15 or 20 at a time and I think I pay $1.65 a piece for them. The extra use I get out of them makes them cheaper than Boges IMO.

Still waiting for my Buzz Pro, BUT.....had been using a Boge cartomizer on my eGo battery for about 2 weeks (not consistently due to varying ejuices), but this morning I experienced the burnt cartomizer and it was truly nasty! Anyway, thought I'd put a few drops of ejuice in to see if it were truly burnt or what. There is some ejuice flavor, but it's done for, I can tell. Decided to try my Fusion LR. Used the condom method; I must have put 35 drops as opposed to 15-20 in the Boge -- is that normal? Didn't flood, tastes fine. Seems like the vapor is stronger too?! Anyway, just want to check with the experts to confirm 35 drops or so is not excessive--I know that probably varies due to different sized drips.

Any

However many it takes to saturate the carto is by definition the right amount, people provide guidance just to help someone not really underfill.

With a plain carto, I'll fill the heck out of it from the top, then blow through it onto a tissue to clear any excess in the main tube, wipe the battery connector after clearing it.

In a tank, priming the carto is still good, give it a first fill. In my case, I topfill the tank, so when I first put a new carto in I just purposely let the top of the carto get a good soak when I initially fill the tank. Afterwards, same method, once the tank is in place I blow gently through the drip tip attached to the carto to clear excess liquid. After this very first carto priming, no need to re-prime when you're just topping a tank off.

Yeah, can't remember the last time I actually counted the drops. Just fill till it's full and blow out the excess :) The biggest problem with the drop counting is that different droppers and different juices will vary quite widely as to how many drops are in a given quantity of juice. I suppose it's still useful for demonstrating capacity on marketing materials, but I'd rather see the volume than # of drops when shopping for cartos, myself

Well my boge burnt out, so I slotted a new fusion and threw it on the M1A1. Wow. This combination is great! The draw is a bit lighter than on the boge, but it is just right! Man I am really enjoying this combination. I've been on this for the last 2 days now, and it's working wonderfully.

Those Fusions are amazing.....just tanked one up this morning (the very first one) and holy smokes (err..I mean vape) and the draw is so easy and clouds of vapor. I have a 5 mil Smoketech tank and cut it down to fit a regular length carto. My biggest concern of course was keeping it in a "locked" position. Was going to drill a small hole and put a thumbscrew like the M1A1 but the Fusion has a knobby ring on the bottom.....just enough to keep in in place.....so, punched one of those and wow....I now have another useful tank!

Agreed :) I have a couple of the megas, two different lengths and so far have been vaping one of them all week. Filled it a couple times and vaped it to check it out, then punched and tanked it and I'm abso-frickin-lutely loving it in a tank  I tried out one of the LR regular length ones I ordered, too, but haven't tanked one of those yet.

I think we are twins...I do exactly the same filling technique :) I have to admit that I love my boges too, but the Fusions are my favorite.

JC, once you gte that burnt taste there is no coming back for that carto :( One good rule to follow is on your first fill, let your carto sit for 15 mins or so to make sure it has had time to absorb all it's going to :)
