Hi
I have been vaping now for a couple of weeks and loving it. Stopped smoking 3 months ago after 30 years at it. What I have found is I get a fuzzy head and pressure behind the eyes when I vape too much. Sounds like too much nicotine, but why then am I still craving nicotine? To compare when I have a NRT lozenger, 2mg that dissolves on the gums I cant finish it. I am swamped with nicotine and have to take it out. The very thought of another lozenge (like cigarettes) becomes repulsive. A sign the body is full on nicotine and is no longer craving.

But I vape 24mg, and the fuzzy feeling reaches me way before the " I have enough nicotine" feeling arrives.

We are all different, but am I alone?

So Calif
Think maybe your sinuses are making an adjustment to the change? Mine used to do that in the beginning but it went away and now my head is clear.

Having said that you didn't state your juice mix of PG/VG or whether or not you are drinking a lot of water. Water is very important when vaping, as vaping, coffee, cola and alcohol are all big time dehydrators. Some people have some mild to severe allergic reactions to PG or VG. More information would help ;)

I drink and I dont mind dry sore throats etc as I am used to that with smoking. I guess you are right and there cant be too many culprits in the mix.
Detailed mixes info seems to be lacking in the UK though. I bought a few Hanseng, and some USA patriot blend. Both just say a mix of vg/pg. The only definite seems to be Freedom Smoke RY4 which is 50/50. Most UK webs do not seem to give the exact mixes. Maybe I should experiment with DIY if the symptoms could be down to the PG/Vg. The symptoms are slightly better on the 50/50, but very slightly.

I had a fuzzy head. I used to call it a Nic Buzz. When you have the "fuzzy head" you may not be craving nicotine, you might be craving the satisfaction of vaping/smoking itself. What i did was went out and bought 0mg VG/PG and and some flavorings. I mixed a batch of 0 nicotine liquid and vaped that until the fuzziness subsided. If you don't want to mix your own you can always buy 0mg nic juice. You will find it helps a lot. After a while those symptoms your having stop all together.

So you tested it by removing the nicotine and continuing on the pg/vg and it worked. I find it strange that pharma grade nicotine via lozenges, sprays etc give no fuzzy head and I feels overdosed on nic to the point 1 more and I will be sick, yet overdoing the vaping leaves me still craving and unsatisfied for nic. but with a fuzzy head.

I will try the 0mg test, worth a go. thanks for the suggestion.
