G-Plat Coils Gunk & Burn Issue.

So I have been using G-Plat for a good 2 months now and it seems as of lately that it tends to gunk up really fast and it also has that burnt taste that comes along with it. My builds are at .3Ω with 12 wraps on a 5/64" bit. I like the ramp up time it delivers, but I can't stand the gunk and burnt taste and having to dry burn and change my wick out every 3 days or so. So was looking for some tips. I am going to do my next couple builds with kanthal. I have also heard of a new wire on the market called Royal Wires. I'll post a link below, but please try and leave some feedback. Oh and the juice I am using is my own which is an 80VG/20PG blens with 6mg of nic.

couldnt get a free sample from any one so I bought 1 bag to try it..... its okay I suppose, once its gone, Ill be back to kanthal

but I did get a nice ziplock bag and 3 cotton balls too

Well I am glad it's not just me. Yeah mine come out right at .3Ω with 26 G-Plat. Although, I did catch my wife last night vaping the crap out of it while I wasn't looking. She SUPPOSEDLY quit 2 weeks ago. We got in a fight because she told me she wanted to quit. And since I have such a big passion for vaping, I got all defensive and we got in a pretty heated fight. Silly, right....

Anyway, All is good under the hood and I just ordered some Royal Wire since I can get more bang for my buck than buying G-Plat.

I live in Metairie, a few houses from the lake on near East Jefferson Hospital. Hopefullt one day soon "vaping" will be in the dictionary and when we spell it out we don't get that red line under it like it's not a word.....haha

I am so used to the ramp up time now. Not so much on my mechs, but my DNA 30. It helps save battery time because I don't have to wait at all to start cranking out vapor.

And what is the correct spelling. is it Vaper with an "e" or do we use Vapor with an "o". I seem to see both being used equally.

So which wire is stainless? The ReadyWire? Looks to me like the RoyalWire is just Nichrome80?

Tried stainless for coils but didn't like the taste (didn't like SS mesh wicks for the same reason).

Oh, BTW, for those of you who want to try the welding wire, make sure you don't get the flux-core!
