G6 battery issue

Greetings all,

So I ordered a manual 78mm G6 battery so my girlfriend could have a spare. It arrived Friday and my gf put it on the g6 wall charger for its suggested 8 hour charge. Once that was done I took it off charge and attached one of my mini tanks, hit the button and,...nothing. It didn't heat up, the led in the end did not come on(but it does flash once when you release the button). I tried different cartos, mini tanks all with same result. When the battery has no carto/tank attached and the button is pushed the led at the end comes on as normal (to a point, it stays on almost 9 seconds where all my other G6 batteries only stay on 5) Any insight other than its probably defective, I do have a service ticket in with Halo, but since its the weekend...lol.

Do the G6 manual batteries have a lock?

Try pressing the button 5 times fast. Watch the light.

5 more times would lock it, for transport. That's how the Tritons work.

Nope, G6's have no lock. I use a Triton myself after starting with a G6, girlfriend is still using the G6.

Open a support ticket with Halo. Of course I'm still waiting on a response for my ticket I submitted a week ago
