Hi, everyone

I have a provari and some ego's, but I wanted a small ecig also, so I got the halo. I bought it in August, 2013. I bought like 1 102mm battery, 2 65mm, 3 78mm, all automatic except for 1 of the medium sized ones.

It went well in the beginning, good vapor, mostly using the mini tanks (didnt like the cartomizer, not knowing how much juice left, having to fill and not let it flood, etc). One of the batteries surely got ruined because juice dripped on it.

Also, Halo didnt have the PCC so besides the wall charger from halo, I also got an AIO IK-1200 as the charger, which never worked 100%. Sometimes it doesnt turn on any led or stays red forever, although it does seem to charge.

Anyways, currently, last month, Ive had a lot of hard time... 1 medium sized battery and 2 small (all automatic) simply dont vape at all after charged. 1 of them ok, spilled juice on it so understandable.

So I have 1 long one, 1 medium automatic and 1 medium manual. Those seem to be ok but are also strange at times. I charge them on the Halo wall charger, and for example, the long battery, after many hours charging, remains red. the others the charger shows blue led indicating the full charge.

What is strange is, sometimes they work and sometimes they dont. I might have charged a battery for hours, try to vape using mini tank and it starts flashing as if not charge. Charge it again then it works.

Ive been using the halo wall charger. Could it be that the AIO charger ruined them?

Or is the battery life really just a few months?

I ordered a few more batteries, 2 new chargers and a PCC, so hopefuly Ill be able to figure out what the heck is going on :)

Any tips appreciated.

well, the IK-1200 is for 510 threaded and the Halo G6's are 808's, so i wouldn't even expect them to thread together without considerable effort. unless your using an adapter, i dont see how they would be compatible. The output voltage looks ok, but the physical connection wouldn't work.

hmm, upon further reading, the 1201 looks like it's threaded for 808's and EVO..and they have a 808 specific AIO. But the website is a tad confusing on whether the 1200 has multiple outputs for different types, although it really seems aimed at 510's.

Each G6 battery should be good for roughly 300 charges, so almost a year if you were charging to full once a day. and if you have multiple batteries you run on rotation, considerably longer than that.

Thanks for super fast reply, Wheezal!

The 1200 does support 808D-1, I made sure it was compatible before buying (asked merchant, etc): AIO Pack (IK-1200), Innokin AIO PCC Noble Electronic Cigaret - Best Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette Manufacturer| Innokin

So what you think couldve happened in my case?

I guess when my new Halo charger comes I wont use the AIO IK anymore just to be safe...

Or maybe my halo charger is bad :) Will keep experimenting to try to discover.

Thanks for tip about battery life.

that's the website i was reading, it really seems to indicate that the 1200 did not fit 808's. they indicate the 1201 and a separate 808 sku PCC that they offer.

also this review seems to confirm that the 1201 was for 808's.

Innokin AIO PCC Review

now if you got the batteries to thread into place, then there's a misunderstanding on my part somewhere.

Is it possible the center post of the batteries is pushed down a little bit, and you aren't charging them? Or only sometimes, it makes the connection and charges, and sometimes not?

There's a similar thread about this, IIRC. I don't have a G6, but as I understand, you can CAREFULLY use a small screwdriver and move the center post back up. The clearances are tight, and just a little bit might make all the difference.

Hi, Dave!!

Hehe, yeah sure, some cachaca on it or vodka :)) BTW on this case I had progress doing what you said, moving battery poll up a bit, although they call me erotic hands, when I do something like that it usually breaks. But still I guess the battery somehow or at least a few, had its time, the long one lasting like 30 min. Ill know better when my new Halo chargers arrive, I guess, with new batteries.

In Brasil, ANVISA, who regulates health related issue (like FDA) bases itself on the old FDA study and says that there is nothing conclusive about ecigs, etc. so its ilegal to sell it, but not to use it (although there are shops selling hardware and juice). Unfortunately 3rd world country cenario where surely the huge tabaco companies somehow have a higher voice. Hopefuly it will change soon!

People usually are curious when they see one vaping in public places :) They will ask about it, congratulate you for not smoking analogs anymore and usually say that they barely feel any smell. Its not widespread like in the US...

In the area of mysterious things, I have another strange issue, posted in Ask Veterans, but I think its moderated, as I dont see my question. Im using protank 2 with Provari mostly. Sometimes, after very few usages of a coil, after I unscrew pro tank 2 to fill up with more juice, I get the OPEN error on the coil (and on Ego battery also it wont work). I dont understand why just by refilling I "damage" the coil :) any ideas?

Thanks and hope you come visit BR soon again, I imagine you were on work or some brasilian in your family...? :)
