GAME CHANGER! $45 Chinese Hybrid!

Well this is interesting! I always wanted a Hybrid.....but they were are always either VERY expensive or hard to find. I'm still waiting on iHybrid's Pure for $99 but i ran across this on Vapor Joe's this morning!

The first picture does not match the other regarding the switch. So the last two are probably the accurate ones. That would be important to me. The price is low enough to try though. Rainbow has made some decent stuff.

I've seen pics of the mod before, but had no idea how inexpensive it would be. Rainbow Heaven makes great quality devices.. (Terminator C, MKB-TS) I'm sure this hybrid will follow suit.. $45.59... Wow!

It's a single-purpose device.. The genny portion does not have a 510 connector, and cannot be swapped to other devices.. (unless you find something else that has matching tube threads)

I'm not a fan of the way the switch looks.
I've never liked the recessed switch with trench cuts - have to stick your finger between to depress (like the Precise).
I also don't that texture/knurling cuts on (what looks to be) the lock ring.
That matte finish makes it look like anodized aluminum...yuk.

That's a killer price and I've seen the wholesale price. I thinking about getting one.

I've seen other China Hybrids and they look promising...and I'm sure VaporTek is working on getting those too. But be sure Fasttech will also carry them.

I don't see the allure in these. Yes I think it looks nice, but for me the selling point of apvs in general has been the customization aspect. Why limit yourself to only one body and atty? That being said, it sure is pretty for that price... Hmm...

Yah, that's not designed well if its a recessed switch with a locking ring. Kind of redundant.

Wow, that's a Noble knock off but with a 18650 tube.

Knockoffs r fine, I guess, a long as they work ok. There is always something questionable with the quality, leaky tank, bad contacts, loose nuts....

I've read a few posts on the Noble having leaking issues too...

I had the anodized version and NEVER experienced a leak. U can't be saying the quality is on par to the products they r replicating? Not trying to make a knock off argument just sayin.

For the money, nothing a little tweaking couldn't solve. Aluminium has great conductivity, so lots of potential for a very hard hitting device. 5ml capacity would be an all day device period. Finally looks like the Chinese are paying attention to the details.
Now if only they can make a decent button and put the center post and neg screw close enough to the wick hole.

I do agree, they have def started making a better product. They have certainly filled the void of demand and cost where the orig mod makers cant or dont.

It does at times feel as though some mod makers r attempting to manage their market presence. It seems at times they r attempting maintain the price with low supply.
