Gamucci - Can Anyone Review this E-Cig Taste?
From :- Marcus - Manchester - U.K.

Well Here I go, I gave up smoking 4 weeks ago last Sunday, have been, up until 2 days ago using patches and early last week bought a mini-ecig from ebay (A Cheep Copy). My mini - E -Cig taste like sour bad apples and currants (I hate Currants), I'm also a little bit scared of the thing as it's a copy I'm worried about what I'm inhaling? - Some kind of Gel - From Hell? Or just harmless food additives the like of which you would find in spearmint ect?.
OK I was hoping to take the mini E-Cig to work with me and announce it to the world as our new Saviour ect (I'm a Singer and often perform to many people) but the taste is so bad that I fear I would do nothing other than put people off the concept of electronic Cigarettes, I too need to find the right E-Cig or Cigar as I would love to have the option of smoking in the future safely without any risk, pos puffing on a Choc Flavour ect High Quality named E-Cig/Cigar. Any body on this forum tried gamucci?, as I live in the UK this is the one We Brits Would find easy to access...Thankyou..Marcus

I can't seem to post new threads yet so unfortunately I've had to highjack this old thread.

I'm about to buy some carts from e-cigs.com and was wondering can anyone tell me what the difference is between the tabacco flavour and the Marlboro flavour?

I've been smoking the Gamucci carts and quite like them. Which of the 2 flavours is more similar and how does the other compare?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Marcus, welcome to the forum

Very few people on the forum have a Gamucci and even fewer have a good word to say about it. Funnily, it's that model that alerted me to e-smoking as I saw it on iwantoneofthose.com. After reading up here I went with a spread of devices, both brand and generic, from various worldwide locations.

I thnk the best start a UK e-smoker can have is to buy a generic device from either Smokester or pillbox38. Both guys post on this forum and are responsive to queries.

Electronic Cigarette | Free Yourself... | e-cigs Welcome - Smokester

eBay UK Shop - ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE QUIT EASILY: ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE KITS.E.PIPE, E.CIGAR, CARTRIDGES AND MORE - pillbox38

I also have a gamucci. Got it from e-bay. Just like to say get another atomiser
from pillbox or smoketer and another battery I did. the plus side of gammuci is its a great work horse wont let you down but you dont get much vapour.

back to the question.
I have found that there is not that much differance in tobacco and malbora.
in fact I used the carts tobacco and topped it up with malbora liquid and the only diff. was a bit more vapour. suppose its a little bit stronger.
Its hard to tell.

Hi nobby

Most e-cig flavours taste very little like a real cigarette. It's easy to explain it with the fruit flavours, they're just sweet, but with the ones that try for tobacco or menthol, it's more difficult. My overwhelming impression is that they lack the back-throat bite of a hot cig, and there is a difference in both the top note and after taste of e-cigs that is quite weird and takes some getting used to. However, if you go exclusive for a while and then try a real cig, they taste horrible.

To my mind, Marlboro flavour carts are most like real cigs because there are very distinct taste notes in Marlboros that the manufacturers could aim for. I didn't like the cigarette much but I do enjoy the e-cig flavour because it's about the closest analog to a real ... taste-wise.

Yes I had the same problem and now one of my batteries will not hold a charge. I wished I had found the forum before I got a gamucci.
If I were you I would deff get spares Electronic Cigarette | Free Yourself... | e-cigs Welcome are doing a full kit for £26 you will then have 4 batteries 2 atomisors and 2 chargers and if you put in your pay pal message your user name you get 15 free carts of your choice.
and how much would it cost you for 15 carts.

Iceman- I feel exactly the same. Wish I'd stumbled upon this forum before foorking out for the gamucci. The classic that e-cigs sells look almost identical to the gamucci classic anyway. I'm guessing they're made by the same people in China.
Thanks for the tip about adding in my user name. I've just ordered 25 carts from them. I did this before you told me about including my user name. Are you about to tell me that I could have got a discount on those aswell?

Emporer- Thanks for the flavour advice. I've gone with 4 packs of Marlboro flavour along with 1 tobacco just so that I can taste and compare the two.

As a general note, I think I'm smoking more now I'm on e-cigs than when I was on the old analogues!
