Just today I wrote that if I had to blindly suggest any flavor--out of my arsenal--to someone who wasn't sure of what they liked, I would suggest Gandalf in the blink of an eye. I truly believe it has mass appeal! The only problem I can see, is that most will read the description on the site and think they will be getting a W2V juice, when this is way more friendly, inviting, colorful, amicable, and universally tasty. I would put money on it!

No knock on W2V, but some things are easily recognizable as not for all. Think of W2V as a b-side that hardcore fans would adore, and Gandalf as the hit single that would have young and old singing along to. That is how I see it, dang it. (SMILE)

It's pretty good stuff. It tastes more like a cigar to me than pipe tobacco.

I let my step father try it as he is partial to 555 but was looking for something a bit more tobacco-ish and ended up giving him the remainder of the bottle because he enjoyed it so much.

I had a second bottle with a touch of menthol added that was more to my taste so it worked out well all around.

Just got my gandalf yesterday. I really wanted to like it but to me it just tastes like a stale cracker. Gonna let it steep for a while. Their mocha java smooth is good but it should just be called coffee. I don't taste anything but a dry black coffee bean. Now I have to say I mixed some of COV's caramel cream with it and now it's very good.

Lol... I only see NOW with this review, that it is supposed to taste like pipe hehe... Everyone was raving about it, so I ordered not knowing the pipe part of the story... My fault. I will let it steep some more. I actually have several juices from HHV's but I stuck them in the back of the juice cupboard after tasting Gandalf's old pipe. Actually it should be renamed to Gandalf's Pipe, then no-one will ever be confused. Anyway, if after steeping some more and trying a few sample mixes, I still don't like it, I know my brother will... He loves pipes and cigars...
I am going to look in the vape cupboard and taste some of the other HHV's juices.

What else did you get besides Mocha Java? Btw, isn't Mocha Jave just a kind of coffee bean? Like Blue Mountain etc.?

I just got gandalf and mocha java. Mocha is suppose to refer to coffee that has milk and chocolate added to it. Or so I thought anyway. This is just a plain coffee bean taste. Not bad but I was expecting something different. It's better with my own cream and sugar added to it. Lol. I also have copper creeks house blend on the way and Alice in vapelands sweet tease. If there's any HHV's you find to be outstanding be sure to let me know and I'll give em a try.

Oh I have copper creeks coffee coming too. But I'm expecting that one to be a plain coffee taste. I plan to post reviews on all of them.

Ahhh nice. Wasn't aware of that at all. Well hell, no wonder it tastes like straight coffee beans. Lol.

Lol. No worries. Im just so convinced that I'm going to like gandalf that I keep vaping it. I have to say its slowly growing on me. I found putting it in a tank at 4.6v helped bring out the flavor a bit. A bit that is. It's still a very mild almost nothing there flavor. But at least it didnt taste like a stale cracker that way. Lol. I also notice a faint bitter aftertaste in the back of my tongue from it. I'm letting it steep for a few days. Hoping that flavor will pop out a bit better.

Second that. Ya I got my gandalf right before work yesterday so I had an hour drive to work to vape on it. For the life of me I couldn't think of what I was tasting and then it occurred to me...when I go to get some crackers for chili or something and realize they're stale. That's what I was tasting. Mild kinda sweet flour taste. In the tank I'm getting more of a "pipe" flavor. Maybe it's just not good for dripping. Lol.
