Hi everybody! I'm New to vaping and have a few concerns. I've read allot of info on the internet but can't find a resolution.

I'm 36 and been smoking for about 20 years. About 3 weeks ago I started vaping and I noticed a few things.

I have a lot of gas now. No biggy but I get the gurgling in the stomach, a bit of acid reflux but not to bad, and I fart something fierce. Almost enough to clear a room.

Dry skin to the point that it starts to itch but nothing a zyrtec can't cure. Yes I'm drinking alot of water. 2 to 3 litres a day.

But what worries me is the anxiety. I guess it's anxiety. I can hold my hand out and its kind of hard to keep it steady and not shake. Of I can keep it from shaking out still feels like it's shaking even though it's not.

I started with 18mg then went to 12 and now I'm on 6. I'm using primarily vg based e liquid. I do smoke cigarettes but instead on 20-30 I now smoke 2-3 :)

Anyways my concern is the feeling of anxiety. I'm kind of edgy. Where I used to keep my thoughts to myself I'm more likely to say what I think. This can be a good or bad thing depending on the timing. The fact that I feel like I can't keep my hand still kind of scares me a little. I do drink a lot of caffeine (coffee monster soda etc) but I have reduced a lot and drink a lot more water than I used to.

Is anyone else having an edgy feeling and what have you done about it. Thank you for your thoughts.

Anxiety, Gas, and Dry skin.

The mind can create anxiety out of thin air. Think of a problem and you can manifest anxiety instantly. The nicotine juice your vaping could contain too little nicotine if your body is still dependent of higher doses. Alternately, you could be taking in too little nicotine. But mainly you should do some stress relieving exercises because I think the change in lifestyle could be causing you to manifest anxiety.

The dry skin could be caused as a direct result of vaping. Try buying some cream in the pharmacy isle specifically formulated for your type of dry skin. whether it be red painful blotches or dandruff. Drink more water. We need to drink more water than usual because vaping takes water from our bodies.

As far as the gas... The vapor your inhaling comes with air. Having excess air in the stomach creates feelings of gas throughout the body. Our vapor is also alkaline in PH. This can cause acid reflux and gas. Just take some calcium carbonate whenever you have a problem. :D

Also, remember that cigarettes have a lot more chemicals that are even more addictive than the nicotine. I experienced all the symptoms you have and they went away with time. Definitely go back to a higher nicotine strength. Maybe GasX will help.

I just loaded up one of my mt3 carto with 18. I'll try that. See if it helps. I enjoy being able to clear a room B-)
