Hi all I am obviously new here but not too vaping and I thought it was about time that I joined up and shared my joys of being CIGGIES NO MORE!!!

Seriously though I am reasonably new to vaping been sucking on my new toy eleaf Ikonn 220w with 4ml ello tank since October 2017.

Took me nearly a month to work out the querks and now am vaping like a pro. Going to grab another Ikonn as a spare soon.

Hello and welcome to ecf. Nice Christmas presents I see in that pic. lol.

I love Eleaf products and have been eyeing the Ikonn for a while now. But I have my pico's and I really am not in need of a new mod. Mine still work perfectly.

If you have questions feel free to ask. Always someone here 24/7/365.
So tell us some of the querks with your set up.
Also how many years did you smoke cigarettes and what prompted you to make the switch to ecigs?

:)

In order the main querks where:
1- Didn't tighten my coil enough so I got ...... on by my atty.

2- Spitting in my mouth - figured that I needed to up my wattage to 80 watts to stop that on max vg juices.

As to my smoking resume I clocked up 19 years with ciggies and switched when the cost went up to $159aud for a 160 cigarette carton of JPS Blues and I am ever so glad I did as they are now up to $167aud.

Haven't touched a ciggie since I started vaping and have no desire to.

Eleaf products are great aren't they, so easy to use and flexible as well

I was one of the lucky ones also, once I picked up the ecig I never smoked again. Sadly, its not like that for everyone tho.

I use the eGo mega v2 tanks(with CLR titanium coils) and yes tightening them is a must. As to your max vg, you have to allow time for the wick to replenish itself since the ejuice is so thick. Spitting from the coil is caused by the ejuice just laying there(not having been absorbed yet in the wicking) so upping your watts would also be a good thing. Just be aware of how often you vape it, giving the wick time to do its thing. If it works for you then great.

I don't think I could afford to smoke cigarettes these days. When I switched to vaping I was paying somewhere around $3.50 ish a pack. Now they are hovering around the $10 mark. whew....dodged a bullet on that one. lol

LOL. I have had plenty of those moments myself. U tube can be a good resource also. Especially if you are wanting to learn to build coils yourself.
Oh definitely I was researching for months before I laid down $$$ and you tube was great to see the different types of mods and how they related to in size and maintenance etc as well though methinks I will stick with my eleaf ikonn 220w for now.

Hello and welcome to ECF! Congratulations on making the switch to vaping. Well done you!! Great idea to grab a spare vape set up when you can....and maybe a spare, spare!
Last carton of cigs I bought was $240aud for 200 Winfield. Absolute killer
Vaping is so much better isn't it?!?
